We recently connected with Trenton Wayne and have shared our conversation below.
Trenton, thanks for taking the time to share your stories with us today We’d love to hear about when you first realized that you wanted to pursue a creative path professionally.
Funny story … I did not always plan on pursuing the arts like I am doing today. I’ve dreamt of it, but never really knew how anything would happen or how to get started. I planned to attend university as a Chemistry major. However, once I started dancing in 2013, it was as if a light switch was flicked. I couldn’t imagine a life without the arts or integrating the arts in my work in some way, shape, or form. I officially made the decision to pursue dance professionally after graduating high school. At first, I thought it’d be better (and smarter) to double major in Chemistry and Dance. However, I ended up going with what felt right, which was dance.
Trenton, love having you share your insights with us. Before we ask you more questions, maybe you can take a moment to introduce yourself to our readers who might have missed our earlier conversations?
Yes, of course! Creatively, I am a dancer, model, vocalist, and actor. I’ve been active in television and film since 2018. Along with that, I am a research analyst and the founder of Trenton Wayne Astrology, which enhances others’ understanding of astrology. I approach astrology through a mathematical and scientific lens, bringing forth new logic, patterns, and case studies to help bring legitimacy to the field.
Is there something you think non-creatives will struggle to understand about your journey as a creative?
I believe people that aren’t in my line of work may struggle with trying to understand how I balance all of my endeavours or find the time to complete everything. The one thing working in entertainment has taught me is how to be adaptable & finding balance within the chaos. Every day is quite different and you never really know what it’ll bring until you are in it. The sooner you learn to adapt to different stimuli, the faster you will be able to attract new opportunities, some of which that may be in alignment with your given path.
What do you think is the goal or mission that drives your creative journey?
For me, it’s really to reach my personal level of success. I have such grandiose dreams and I feel this indescribable need to achieve them. It’s not at all easy … It takes much drive and motivation to accomplish. However, every opportunity that I’ve attracted has gotten me that much closer to achieving the level of success that I’ve set for myself, so it just makes sense to keep going. I’ve even been surprised at some of the things or skills I have unlocked because I have decided to continue on this path.
