Hi Tremaine, thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, maybe you can tell our readers some of your backstory.
On paper, my journey into a financial services company started over 10 years ago after having my offer rescinded from NASA. If you ask my mom, my journey started when I was a child. When most children are asked what they want to be when they grow up, they give a profession or job title. When I was asked what I wanted to be when I grew up, I answered, “RICH”

Now, I spend my days helping women entrepreneurs define what RICH means for them and putting together the roadmap to create their RICH Roadmap.

The RICH Roadmap is my signature framework that helps merge the math of financial planning with the true desires of each client to create a strategy that embraces what they really want out of life.

Financial Planning is nothing more than the steps we take with our finances to design the life we desire. I love waking up every day to co-create and help clients re-design what life could be when they wrangle their finances into alignment.

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Like many women entrepreneurs, I struggled with believing in my value despite having millions of dollars in receipts impacting hundreds of families across the country.

My biggest challenge to date has been learning to lean into rest allowing God to take control and guide the path of my business.

I recently saw a quote that shook me to my core. It said something like this – When work is an idol, resting feels like sin.

This is such a timely reminder to women entrepreneurs that rest is not earned. It is required.

Appreciate you sharing that. What should we know about Mind Over Money?
Mind Over Money is a Financial Services Firm that primarily serves women business owners. We help women manage their money better so they can get back to enjoying life. We are most proud of our ability to break down financial literacy concepts and help women get started with investing. We offer programs and services that range from topic-focused workshops for the Do-It-Yourself entrepreneur to a full white-glove experience for entrepreneurs who want a Money Team around them to navigate the complexities of the financial services world.

What are your plans for the future?
In the future, I plan to build a training program to help more financial services professionals learn how to teach and truly add value to the community so we can do our part to close the wealth gap with foundational financial education.
