Alright, Treasure thanks for taking the time to share your stories and insights with us today. Do you manage your own social media?
I manage all of my social media accounts myself, but I also get paid to manage other accounts as well.
To all my business owners, I highly recommend hiring a company to run your social media, especially if you’re starting your business up from scratch. Most companies will already know the social algorithm, along with ideas on what to post
Think about it, small business owners do all the work – Marketing, Taking Clients, Designing Graphics, Restocking Products, etc. Having to run everything by yourself can get exhausting. Why not take some of that weight off your shoulders?

Hey there! My name is Treasure Martin
I am a Licensed Cosmetologist, Instructor, Supplier and Business Mentor in the Beauty Industry. I’m also a Food Blogger and Designer Dog Breeder
I want potential clients/customers to know that I am all about fulfilling your needs whenever your in my presence!

What else should we know about how you took your side hustle and scaled it up into what it is today?
I became a hard worker at a young age. I had my first job at 15. Although money was coming in, I wasn’t satisfied with working for someone and being on their time
I remember I was 16 working at Dunkin Donuts. Along with me working here, I sold beauty supplies to my peers at school (strip lashes, lip gloss, bracelets, etc).
Once my god mother Madeleine found out that I was deeply interested in the beauty industry, she informed me about a lash extension training that she thought I’d be interested in – I ended up registering the same day!
I took the class May 2020 (my birthday month) and my business has been sky rocketing since then.
I also remember telling my family members I was going to quit my 9-5 job after I took the training and become an entrepreneur. Most of them doubted me and told me that I wouldn’t make any revenue but I never listened. I make sure to always follow my heart and it has lead me to having a 6 figure career that I absolutely love!

What’s been the most effective strategy for growing your clientele?
The most effective strategy for growing my clientele is Customer Service. People come to me to feel welcomed and loved and I provide that feeling every-time.
For someone to be interested in you and your services, that shows that they trust you!
Always listen to your clients. 9/10 they’re going to tell you what they want or what they’re interested in. Fulfill their desire and watch them come knocking right back at your door
