You truly have to love what you’re doing for anything to be successful.
Tre, love having you share your insights with us. Before we ask you more questions, maybe you can take a moment to introduce yourself to our readers who might have missed our earlier conversations?
I’m a private chef born and raised in Tampa Florida. I started cooking when I was about 20 years old while I was in college. I wasn’t happy with my major and I knew I needed to make a change. Becoming a chef wasn’t something that I had in mind when I thought about changing the path I was on in life. I was working full time to support myself while I was in school and I would sell pans of food on the weekends. I hated my job and I hated working which led to me being fired. With little no source of income, I panicked because I knew that was something I never wanted to happen to me. This gave me no other choice but to cook full time and I’ve never looked back since. initially I didn’t think I had what it took to cook for anyone besides my friends and family. Fast forward to today Ive cooked for all types of people in different cities and states. From athletes to influencers, I’ve experienced a lot in just 4 years.
Coming into this industry with no guidance at all, its been interesting navigating the ins and outs of it all.
A lot of the times its hard and sometimes I want I to stop and just throw in the towel but I know I want to go so much further. It can be very depressing when you run your business entirely with no help. But you know you have to get it done. Because I have dreams of becoming a brand, I know I’m going to push myself until I make it happen.

How did you build your audience on social media?
Building an audience on social media has to be one of the hardest things about running a business. Its really hard to make sure you’re doing everything you need to do for your business, as well as keeping up with the new trends on social media. The new wave seems to be short videos like TikToks and Reels. Thats the way I built my audience on both platforms. One day I decided to record a video of me cooking, posted it on TikTok and it went viral. I gained over 10 thousand followers and the video is now at 2.3 million views on the platform. Ever since then its been the best way to advertise my craft and my skill.

How did you put together the initial capital you needed to start your business?
When I started out I had a 9 to 5 and I cooked on the side. I knew I hated my 9 to 5 and I never wanted to be there forever. I changed my mindset and made my business my 9 to 5. My job funded my business until I was able to let my business fund itself. I was nervous at first but it was the best decision I’ve ever made!
