We’re excited to introduce you to the always interesting and insightful Traye Revere. We hope you’ll enjoy our conversation with Traye below.
Traye , appreciate you joining us today. Can you talk to us about how you learned to do what you do?
I started out like a lot of producers just experimenting. Growing up in Atlanta, I was surrounded by a deep music culture, from trap to R&B, so inspiration was everywhere. I taught myself the basics using software like FL Studio and Logic Pro, watching other producers, and reverse engineering beats from my favorite producers. Over time, I connected with other creatives, shadowed engineers in studios, and got hands-on experience working with artists. Learning in a city like Atlanta meant soaking in the energy of its sound and collaborating with people who push the culture forward.

Traye , love having you share your insights with us. Before we ask you more questions, maybe you can take a moment to introduce yourself to our readers who might have missed our earlier conversations?
I’m Ayetraye, a music producer and creative entrepreneur based in Atlanta, GA, where music and culture are a way of life. Growing up surrounded by Atlanta’s iconic sound—from trap to soulful R&B. I developed a deep love for production and storytelling through music. I started producing by experimenting on FL Studio and Logic Pro, teaching myself the ropes through countless hours of trial and error, YouTube tutorials, and listening closely to the work of producers I admire. Over time, that passion turned into a career, and I’ve been fortunate to work with talented artists, creating music that resonates.
What I Offer:
As a music producer, I specialize in crafting beats and instrumentals that capture emotion, energy, and authenticity. Whether it’s producing full tracks, collaborating with artists to refine their sound, or engineering clean mixes that make the music hit right, I deliver quality work tailored to the artist’s vision. I also operate Ayetraye Productions, my multimedia production company, which allows me to bring a broader creative vision to life, offering visuals, audio, and even digital content creation for brands, artists, and businesses. I believe in helping clients tell their stories in powerful and engaging ways.
What Problems I Solve:
For artists and creators, I solve the challenge of finding their unique sound. Whether you’re an up and coming artist looking to stand out or an established musician looking to experiment, I provide music that fits you while pushing creative boundaries. Beyond production, I also help artists and brands deliver polished content that engages their audiences, from music to visuals. I know how overwhelming it can be to manage creativity while building a brand, so I step in to streamline the process and deliver results.
What Sets Me Apart:
What makes me different is my versatility, attention to detail, and understanding of Atlanta’s culture while staying open to global influences. I don’t just “make beats”; I create soundscapes that tell stories and leave a lasting impression. Being a producer today requires more than technical skill you have to understand the artist, the audience, and the message. I pride myself on being a collaborator who listens and brings out the best in everyone I work with. Plus, as the founder of Ayetraye Productions, I merge music and visuals, creating full-package creative solutions under one brand.
What I’m Most Proud Of:
I’m most proud of my growth and the journey so far. Every project whether it’s producing a single, creating a beat for a local artist, or launching a multimedia campaign represents a milestone. My latest single, “No Dap”, is a great example of my commitment to pushing boundaries while staying true to my roots. It’s a sound that’s bold, authentic, and unapologetic, and it embodies who I am as a producer.
What I Want People to Know:
At the heart of everything I do is passion, authenticity, and a commitment to quality. Whether you’re a fan of my music, an artist looking to collaborate, or a business looking for fresh creative solutions, I’m here to bring your ideas to life. Ayetraye Productions is more than a business it’s a creative hub where sound, visuals, and storytelling collide. I want my work to inspire, connect, and resonate with people from all walks of life.
Ultimately, I’m not just here to make music I’m here to help build movements, create timeless art, and leave a legacy that inspires others to chase their dreams, just like I’m chasing mine.

How can we best help foster a strong, supportive environment for artists and creatives?
In my view, society can do a lot to better support artists, creatives, and a thriving creative ecosystem. Creativity isn’t just entertainment it’s culture, community, and economy, and it deserves intentional investment and respect. Here’s what I think can help. I think they could Invest in the Arts and Creative Industries, like Funding and Grants. Public and private sectors need to invest in artists through grants, residencies, and funding programs. For independent artists, access to capital is often the biggest barrier to creating and distributing work. they could Prioritize Arts Education. Arts education needs to start young and be seen as essential, not optional. Music, art, and digital media programs in schools help nurture creativity and provide kids with the tools to express themselves. They could also Build Platforms for Creatives to Thrive like providing Access to Technology. Providing resources like free or low-cost software, studio time, and access to equipment allows artists—especially from underrepresented backgrounds to compete and create on a level playing field.

Are there any books, videos, essays or other resources that have significantly impacted your management and entrepreneurial thinking and philosophy?
Absolutely. Over time, I’ve come across some powerful resources that have shaped my management style, entrepreneurial mindset, and creative philosophy. These books, videos, and essays have influenced how I approach my work as a music producer, business owner, and creative entrepreneur. Here are a few that have made the biggest impact, for books ill say “Outliers” by Malcolm Gladwell is one, Gladwell’s “10,000-Hour Rule” and focus on the role of opportunity resonated deeply with me. It made me realize that success isn’t just about talent but about putting in consistent work, taking opportunities, and surrounding yourself with the right people. another book is “Rich Dad Poor Dad” by Robert Kiyosaki. Kiyosaki’s breakdown of financial literacy and assets versus liabilities changed how I approach money and investments. It pushed me to think about building long-term wealth through my creative work, rather than just chasing short-term gains.
