We’re excited to introduce you to the always interesting and insightful Tracy Sandidge. We hope you’ll enjoy our conversation with Tracy below.
Alright, Tracy thanks for taking the time to share your stories and insights with us today. Let’s kick things off with your mission – what is it and what’s the story behind why it’s your mission?
Tracy Sandidge, this shining star, was born January 7, 1972, in St. Louis Missouri and raised in the suburbs of Chicago, Illinois. She obtained a Bachelor of Science in Business Management; her footprints are everlasting in the industries of Human Resources, Training & Development, with a specialized focus in Learning Management Systems. Tracy’s background in recruitment, vendor management, and workforce improvements provided the platform for her to network and implement processes to a population of over 3,000 individuals worldwide.
As a single mother of one, Tracy prided herself in being the example that she wanted her daughter to see. She started her own transportation company. Soon she grew the business from a staff of one to an entire team of four. Thereafter, she realized real estate was another way to create revenue. She began flipping properties for profit, which has afforded her the ability to fund her goals while helping other mothers through their journey.
Tracy Sandidge is an advocate for providing resources to the homes of women raising their children on their own. This motivated her to start her own nonprofit; Change the Narrative Foundation, Inc. 2020 | Dallas, TX. She empowers women to write the ending to their own story.
While Tracy devotes her energy to her foundation, she also carries a certification as a Phlebotomist by the National Healthcareer Association (NHA). She is qualified to cross borders on a national level and apply her skills.
As a true believer of holistic health, an avid traveler, and a Boss Chic that creates multi-streams of income; you will find Tracy enjoying a good Netflix binge or she can be found on her early morning power walks.
Tracy Sandidge currently lives in Dallas, TX where she is Changing the Narrative and controlling the ending to her story and championing women to start Changing the Narrative and rewriting the ending to their own story.

Awesome – so before we get into the rest of our questions, can you briefly introduce yourself to our readers.
The true Tracy Sandidge. Life became real for me when I learned I was pregnant at the age of seventeen. I can’t say I knew who I was. Yet alone, the beginning of molding a little person to have morality & integrity. My journey raising my daughter as a single parent, however not by myself, has catapulted me into the industry of a business owner in the non-profit sector.
Change The Narrative, Inc. is a resilient entity that support, empower, and show its’ members how to recover from difficult situations. Although we focus on financial literacy, continual education, and childcare; we have several other impactful programs. For example, the God father Initiative, which provides young boys with male role models.
One of my long-term goals was to purchase land and build a community and house a single mother raising her kids. Last year I bought 5.25 acres of land. Currently I am working towards seeing this goal to fruition.
I want everyone to know that there is always an opportunity to “Write the ending to your story”. No matter how things look- Change The Narrative.
My logo designer, Jamari Wilson, asked “What do you want the viewer to see when they see your logo”? I wanted my logo to reflect change, growth, next level change, Dunamis change. As a result, I have the life cycle of the butterfly.
Can you tell us about a time you’ve had to pivot?
I believe in multi-streams of income. Raising my daughter as a single parent, I always had to create a plan A-Z. Not just in-case, but when the flow of income was not coming. Often, I found myself without a job. I would create anything that generated money.
My pivot went from temp jobs, to waiting tables, to creating a transportation company, formatting resumes, IT support, designing t-shirts, selling candy, working bingo, selling Tupperware & Melaleuca. The list goes on and on; it really made me laugh and thanking the Lord for sustaining me.
What do you think helped you build your reputation within your market?
Before Change The Narrative, Inc. there is Tracy Sandidge. I really take pride in meeting people; I love good people. I am always networking and being that greatness that I look for in others.
Those same amazing individuals that know me as a woman with integrity, champion my efforts. All of those amazing people, some with their own businesses, will share my non-profit with their network. Word of mouth in the warm market is the cherry on top of everyone’s sundae!
Afterwhile, everyone searched for Change The Narrative. Now we stay busy with many projects.
