Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Tracy Green. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.
Hi Tracy, thanks for joining us today. Can you talk to us about how you learned to do what you do?
I am still learning! Truthfully, I don’t think that I will ever been finished with the learning process. There are so many facets to being a travel blogger and content creator (writing, photography, video, social media, marketing, etc).
I think investing in yourself and your business is crucial to the learning process. I have invested in several courses that have helped me learn about SEO, Pinterest marketing, blogging, email marketing, social media marketing, manual photography, and more.
The biggest obstacle for me right now is time. I have a husband, three children, and running a household that require a lot of my time, so finding the time to work on my blogging business can be tough.

Tracy, love having you share your insights with us. Before we ask you more questions, maybe you can take a moment to introduce yourself to our readers who might have missed our earlier conversations?
My husband was laid off in 2020 when everything was shut down due to the pandemic and we found ourselves moving to Charlotte, NC for a job. We had never been to Charlotte and did not know anyone there. That combined with the pandemic made meeting new people difficult, and I started to feel lonely and isolated.
When scrolling on Instagram one day I stumbled across an account that was all about things to do and places to eat in the Charlotte area. That was my first exposure to a travel content creator and I immediately knew that this was something I wanted to do.
I created my Instagram account @willtravelforlattes in October 2020, and used it as a way to get to know my new city. I started making connections on Instagram and immediately felt less isolated. I didn’t really know what I was doing back then, but I keep learning and evolving and improving. In April of 2022 I launched my travel blog willtravelforlattes.com and my Pinterest account willtravelforlattes.
I am constantly working to add to and improve my content across all my platforms. My goal is to inspire women to explore, try new things, and travel the world. Life is short and I want to make the most of it! I hope to help other women to do the same by providing inspiration and information about travel destinations around the world. The main areas I focus on in any destination are local coffee shops, foodie spots, boutique hotels and unique stays, independent bookshops, and things to do. I have big plans for the future of my business and brand, and I would love to bring you along on the journey! Follow me on Instagram, Pinterest, and my blog for all the latest updates.

What do you find most rewarding about being a creative?
The most rewarding part of what I do is the community of fellow travelers, foodies, and coffee lovers that I have become a part of. Swapping stories, sharing the ups and downs of life as a content creator and blogger, supporting and cheering each other on. I am so grateful for my community!

Is there mission driving your creative journey?
I have lots of goals for my brand and business as a creative, but the main driving force is the desire to live life on my own terms. My ultimate goal is to have the freedom and flexibility to work when and where I want while traveling the world.
