We were lucky to catch up with Tracy Graham recently and have shared our conversation below.
Alright, Tracy thanks for taking the time to share your stories and insights with us today. We’d love to hear the backstory behind a risk you’ve taken – whether big or small, walk us through what it was like and how it ultimately turned out.
A couple of years ago I felt the Lord calling me to make a change in my vocation. I had been a teacher and coach for 20 years at that point and changing careers felt like a crazy idea. I wanted to be faithful so I took the leap. A friend of mine, JP Findley, had asked me if I would be interested in joining his real estate group at Rogers Healy and Associates. After much prayer and talking with my husband, I felt like this was where the Lord was leading. Now, two years into my real estate career, I can say it was the best decision I have ever made! I absolutely love being able to help everyone from first-time home buyers to investors looking for new ventures. This career is so much fun and I love meeting new people from all walks of life. I am so blessed I get to do this every single day!
Great, appreciate you sharing that with us. Before we ask you to share more of your insights, can you take a moment to introduce yourself and how you got to where you are today to our readers.
My name is Tracy Graham. I am the wife of Brandon Graham and I have 4 amazing kiddos Callie 22, Haston 22, Connor 20 and Ryleigh 18. I have been a teacher and coach for 20 years. While I coached I started my blog called Our Signature Swag as a creative outlet. I have had the pleasure of working with many companies and creating content mostly focused on home decor and food. I started my career as a real estate agent because I felt the Lord calling me out of my comfort zone. It has been a great 2 years working alongside some of the best agents in the business. As an agent, my goal is to be a sounding board and guide throughout your entire real estate transaction. I realize you can use any one of thousands of local agents and I am honored when you choose to work with me. Real estate transactions are not always easy but having someone there you can trust makes all the difference in the world.
Where do you think you get most of your clients from?
Referrals from current clients are my main source of getting new clients. That is the biggest form of flattery. I am so honored when someone reaches out and tells me they were referred by someone I have already worked with in the past.
Can you tell us about what’s worked well for you in terms of growing your clientele?
I am very active on my social media accounts and that has been a huge driver for growing my clientele. Studies show the average person spends 2 and a half hours a day on social media. As wild as that is to think about, I choose to meet my clients where they are and try to bring them content they deem as useful.
