We recently connected with Traci and have shared our conversation below.
Traci, thanks for joining us, excited to have you contributing your stories and insights. What’s the backstory behind how you came up with the idea for your business?
As an ER nurse for 15 yrs and working in multiple different disciplines in healthcare. I noticed how bad out healthcare was on all levels. When my dad died of gross negligence at Northridge hospital i decided to write a book and open up a website to try and help people.

Awesome – so before we get into the rest of our questions, can you briefly introduce yourself to our readers.
I used to be a firefighter and prior to that a commercial dive medic. I recently wrote a book survive the hospital, be ypur own advocate to help people navigate the system. I try to help people wherever I go and all my patients get what they deserve.
I provide a concierge service to be an advocate for you when you can’t or your family can’t

Can you share a story from your journey that illustrates your resilience?
I’ve had some tough loss young. I lost my dad do to gross negligence at Northridge hospital, my mom lost half her nose because a doctor wouldn’t listen to her. I’ve had my own medical mishaps. I’m am ER nurse, so it made working difficult in that field. Then covid hit and it was something else to say the least. I keep on going and try to do best for my patients and clients.

Can you tell us about a time you’ve had to pivot?
I’ve always had to fight the glass ceiling. Graduating top of my class in my commercial diving school and finding it difficult in that field, left to become a paramedic then graduate tied for top of the class in my fire academy. I got hired there then I had i a knee injury which took me out of that field and brought me to nursing. Now I am training to be a pilot.
I’m always up for a challenge
