Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Tracey Schultz. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.
Tracey, thanks for taking the time to share your stories with us today We’d love to hear the backstory behind a risk you’ve taken – whether big or small, walk us through what it was like and how it ultimately turned out.
As a teenager i lived in a small town in Arkansas. I was a rebellious child. My mother had threatened to send my to juvenile detention. I am never one to be boxed in so I devised a plan to escape
I convinced my best friend to move to Detroit with me. That summer we hustled money to purchase one way tickets on the greyhound and we was D Town bound.
As an adult i have calmed down but i do consider entering into the cannabis industry as risky. Most states still consider it illegal and corporate America has yet to fully embrace it. I was definitely worried about my professional career when starting my cannabis brand. Then I remembered who i was and decided I am worth the risk.
Awesome – so before we get into the rest of our questions, can you briefly introduce yourself to our readers.
I’m Tracey Schultz,. a mother of 2 beautiful girls. I work as a business process analyst for a healthcare company. I exude big scorpio energy. I am a diverse, free spirited introverted country girl with a desire to live with no regrets.
I’ve always been passionate about cannabis. I created PuffNPretty, a feminine cannabis accessory brand that aims to connect, support, and inspire women to elevate their wellness with cannabis. We promote a balanced lifestyle of luxury and wellness for women who use cannabis and aspire to elevate in life.
I created PuffNPretty because I saw a need for more feminine cannabis accessories. I wanted to create products that were stylish and functional, and that would make women feel confident and empowered. We offer a wide variety of products, including branded tshirts, journals, rolling papers, grinders, and tray accessories. We also offer a line of CBD products-.check out our Be Pain Free blog post for details on the CBD.
We cater to women who use cannabis and who are interested in living a balanced lifestyle. We want to reach women who are looking for products that are stylish, functional, and that make them feel good.
Many cannabis accessories are designed for men, and they can be bulky, unattractive, or even uncomfortable to use. PuffNPretty offers stylish and functional cannabis accessories that are designed specifically for women.
Many women who use cannabis feel isolated or judged. PuffNPretty is a community for women who use cannabis, and we offer a variety of resources to help women connect with each other and share their experiences.
Our goal is to become the leading feminine cannabis accessory brand. We want to be the go-to source for women who are looking for stylish and functional cannabis products. We also want to be a source of inspiration and support for women who are using cannabis to elevate their wellness.
PuffNPretty is excited about the future. We plan to continue to expand our product line and reach more women. We also plan to launch a line of educational resources about cannabis and wellness.
We often hear about learning lessons – but just as important is unlearning lessons. Have you ever had to unlearn a lesson?
” The cave you fear to enter holds the treasure you seek” Joseph Campbell.
I had to unlearn the habit of cowering from my power.
I now know that we live to learn and learn to live. If we choose to remain as is and never seek to change, life will humble us, At one point I thought I had it all figured out while living the fast life moving fast yet going nowhere. I was not intentional with my life. That lead to some major hardships for me.
I was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis in 2009. I was in an abusive marriage and I lost custody of my oldest daughter. All of those situations I thought I would never heal from. I am so grateful that I have a the spirit of a warrior. I was able to overcome through learning the power of prayer and adopting a mindset that allowed me to see the blessings in the lessons of pain. I had to learn my power again.
Let’s talk about resilience next – do you have a story you can share with us?
I was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis in 2009.
Multiple sclerosis (MS) is a chronic disease that affects the central nervous system (CNS), which is made up of the brain, spinal cord, and optic nerves. The CNS is responsible for sending messages between the brain and the rest of the body. In MS, the immune system attacks the myelin sheath, which is a protective layer that surrounds the nerves. This damage can cause a variety of symptoms, including fatigue, numbness, vision problems, and difficulty walking.
At one point I used a walking cane. I experience speech and vision problems. I was told by doctors and others that I would eventually need the assistance of a wheelchair. I remember thinking that was not going to be my story. I was not going to allow MS to control and takeover my life. I was prescribed all kinds of medication and injections that caused me to loose touch with my spirit and drive for life.
But God don’t play about me. I was not accepting the probabilities of the disabilities. I prayed and changed my lifestyle. I started eating healthier, decreased stress and adopted holistic wellness habits (cannabis & yoga). I no longer use pills, and no walking cane. I rarely have vision and speech problems.
