We recently connected with Tracey Escobar and have shared our conversation below.
Alright, Tracey thanks for taking the time to share your stories and insights with us today. So let’s jump to your mission – what’s the backstory behind how you developed the mission that drives your brand?
As a 19 year old who had lost her father tragically, I desperately searched for answers….what happens when we die? Back in 1990 it was a taboo subject so I struggled alone. I would spend the next twenty-five years trying to navigate life feeling numb and on auto pilot. Never dealing with my grief and need for answers. I stumbled upon the name of a Medium who was local to me. I couldn’t believe it! I thought the only mediums were the ones on tv! I immediately booked a reading. That one reading healed me in ways I can’t explain. I knew at that very moment that I was going to be a Medium and help others heal too.

Tracey, love having you share your insights with us. Before we ask you more questions, maybe you can take a moment to introduce yourself to our readers who might have missed our earlier conversations?
My name is Tracey Escobar and professionally I go by The Red Couch Medium. I am an evidential medium based in Dallas Texas. After experiencing strange synchronicities and a vision of a red couch, I knew in my soul I was being put on a path to help others heal through the power of mediumship. I spent years developing my skill through many schools and mentors and now am a professional medium. I have published two oracles decks, Messages from Above and Heavens Messages along with my book You Can Be a Medium, How a Red Couch Led Me To Mediumship And Turned My Pain Into Purpose. I am also a co-host for the popular podcast Metaphysical Happy Hour and am the host of video talk show The Souls Journey on Bold Brave Tv.
We’d love to hear the story of how you built up your social media audience?
Social media has been key to my business growth. My success has come from posting consistently and marketing me as a person and not just my product. I share all things about me and my life. People become invested in you and your story. They learn to trust you. Reality sells.

Let’s talk about resilience next – do you have a story you can share with us?
Mediumship is the hardest thing I have ever done with the most rewarding experiences I have ever had. This journey is not for the faint at heart. I have cried a lot and wanted to give up many times but I kept going. I never gave up. That has been key to the success I have had.
