Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Tra-C Pierce. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.
Tra-C, looking forward to hearing all of your stories today. We’d love to have you retell us the story behind how you came up with the idea for your business, I think our audience would really enjoy hearing the backstory.
I entered a 30-day vegan challenge and just fell in love with vegan food. I have always had a passion for baking. While baking some chocolate chip cookies, I decided to make them vegan. I had to tweak the dough several times to get it right. So, I asked my friends and family to try the cookies and give me feedback. They were all really impressed. So, I decided to start a business. Business has always been my passion. My father was a bakery owner. I decided to enroll into a baking class. It helped me improve my baking skills. I took a class with Udemy, and it was so amazing.
As always, we appreciate you sharing your insights and we’ve got a few more questions for you, but before we get to all of that can you take a minute to introduce yourself and give our readers some of your back background and context?

We’d appreciate any insights you can share with us about selling a business.
A few years ago, I sold a business. It was such a valuable lesson to learn. There is one word that comes to mind and that is research! I made so many mistakes in the transaction because I did not do my due diligence. Then the buyer made us a great offer and we accepted it. It was one of the most turbulent experiences I had ever experienced. It could have been a catastrophe but, it ended well, by God’s grace.
How did you build your audience on social media?
I built my small audience by being intentional with my post. I post things that are relevant to my industry. I also post things about myself, so that my followers can see who I am. I also feel it necessary to be personable with followers. This way they know I am approachable despite the business.
