This vision is the driving force behind my ongoing endeavour to establish a charitable organization called Women Building Legacies. Throughout my journey, I have faced numerous challenges, and I continue to encounter obstacles even now. However, overcoming the deeply ingrained patterns of scarcity and struggle that permeate generations has placed me in a unique position to uplift others who once found themselves in circumstances similar to my own.
As a young mother, many doubted my potential, assuming that I would be relegated to a menial job, earning a meager wage. Yet, I refused to accept such limitations. Through sheer determination, unwavering resilience, and a small set of supporters, I defied expectations and transcended societal barriers. My story serves as a testament to the boundless possibilities that await those who refuse to be defined by their circumstances.

My journey into entrepreneurship is a testament to the unexpected twists and turns life can take. As a single mother, I always had to juggle multiple streams of income to support my daughter. Working tirelessly outside of the home, I yearned for more flexibility and the ability to be fully present for my daughter, especially as she was about to embark on her journey at McMaster University in 2015.
At that pivotal moment, my initial plan was modest—I simply wanted to offer my resume writing services through a Kijiji ad. After all, I had been helping friends and family with their resumes for years, without ever charging a fee. Little did I know that destiny had something greater in store for me.
It was during a lunch break at my full-time job that I felt a whisper from a higher power. God’s voice urged me to think bigger. It was a moment of clarity and inspiration that compelled me to take a leap of faith. Instead of settling for a simple ad, I took a bold step and visited my Ministry’s website to purchase a Master Business License for Above All Admin Support Services.

Have you ever had to pivot?
A pivotal moment in my journey came in 2020 when I realized I had to take off the Superwoman cape that I had been wearing since 2015.
I officially began to create and implement Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for everything that was living in my head since the inception of my business.
This transformative change enabled me to hire and delegate tasks to other skilled contractors, providing the support I needed during a particularly challenging time. It was during this period that my mother was diagnosed with cancer amidst the global pandemic. The implementation of SOPs not only allowed me to maintain my business operations but also gave me the flexibility and support to prioritize my family’s needs.
This experience served as a catalyst for a profound shift in my service offerings, which took effect in 2021. With a renewed focus, I am dedicated to helping people reclaim their time and prioritize what truly matters to them. By streamlining processes, implementing efficient systems, and providing strategic guidance, I empower individuals to create space for the things and people that hold the greatest significance in their lives.
What’s been the most effective strategy for growing your clientele?
The most powerful strategy that has fueled the growth of my clientele can be attributed to a combination of key factors, each playing a vital role in my journey.
First and foremost, delivering exceptional quality services has been the cornerstone of my success.
