We’re excited to introduce you to the always interesting and insightful ToRohn Yancey. We hope you’ll enjoy our conversation with ToRohn below.
ToRohn, thanks for taking the time to share your stories with us today Let’s jump to the end – what do you want to be remembered for?
I hope my legacy is not only a story of consistency and trailblazing but I hope my legacy leaves a road map that propels future generations forward regardless if I sell a thousand pieces of inventory or a million. I want to move the needle forward. If I don’t impact the world to the extent that I would like, I hope to spark the mind of the individual in the future who does.

Awesome – so before we get into the rest of our questions, can you briefly introduce yourself to our readers.
My Name is ToRohn, I am most known for being a College Football Player in which being a student athlete is my current occupation. Aside from that I am the Founder of Yancey’s Franchise. Yancey’s Franchise is a perpetual LLC that specializes in Inventory of artistic merit such as: apparel & accessories, home, literature, and liberation. This project started in 2021 a few weeks after the NCAA approved the name, image, and likeness policy which allows student-athletes to monetize without harm to their collegiate career. a Name, Image, and Likeness sponsorship that I created for myself because I didn’t like the deals that were set in front of me at the time from other companies. I have a passion for creativity and integrity. Being sponsored by a brand and just stamping my name on anything set forth without having any creative control just did not sit well with me so I decided to do my own thing. That’s what I believe makes this situation different from others. While some may look at their brands as a money grab, I view my brand as a vision that I am focused on building integrity with so that I can change society. I chose to trailblaze a different path where I am hands on with my work and that is what I am most proud of. Yancey’s Franchise has evolved into something bigger. The brand values: Original idea, creativity, youth, opinion, authenticity, and high-quality products are among the basic values. What I Want my Brand to Become: my goal is to do everything within my power to raise the creative ceiling even more in society and then to paint it afterwards in order to leave my mark. Per this analogy, developing ground-breaking apparel innovations by enhancing the sustainability of our products and improving communities through these offerings.

Are there any books, videos, essays or other resources that have significantly impacted your management and entrepreneurial thinking and philosophy?
The 48 Laws of Power By Robert Greene is a book that has impacted my entrepreneurial thinking in terms of shifting my mindset. Through reading this book I have begun walking a pathway of inspiration and success. A direct and contentious analysis of power and its numerous dynamics may be found in The 48 Laws of Power to comprehend people and advance in life. Among the rules in the book, Law 28—”Enter action with boldness”—is my favorite. Boldness is not innate; it must be developed. In a world where shyness is common, courage is respected and esteemed. It distinguishes you from the crowd and is a tactical trait as opposed to a way of being.

How do you keep in touch with clients and foster brand loyalty?
To gain brand loyalty, I prioritize customer feedback. Most Customers are connected with the brand on social media which has been a great avenue to help create a healthy community. With this being a relatively new company I seek as much feedback as I can from people who have supported my brand in hopes to make it the best it can possibly be and earn positive reviews.
