We were lucky to catch up with Tony Nino recently and have shared our conversation below.
Tony , appreciate you joining us today. Before we get into specifics, let’s talk about success more generally. What do you think it takes to be successful?
A lot of our success has come from interacting with the community. As a lifestyle brand we are always partnering with local events to get brand awareness out . More than ever because people have so many options it’s important to build a community that is behind your brand message .
Great, appreciate you sharing that with us. Before we ask you to share more of your insights, can you take a moment to introduce yourself and how you got to where you are today to our readers.
As a kid I got into a lot of trouble I had two passions cars and money , ultimately I had to do a little time. My path to success became crystal clear once I didn’t have any other choice . I started buying cars fixing them and flipping them and I didn’t stop . Deal after deal till I had made my first million. Success is about mindset and just staying focused. Today I own the largest body shop in Orange County, Iam the largest wholesaler of cars in California and I started a mentorship program on how to buy and sell cars .
How’d you build such a strong reputation within your market?
Great question! This past weekend I got an amazing opportunity for my company. Str8updriven got to provide cars for the Oscars After Party in Hollywood CA. Doing events has always helped my brand grow but being a sponsor at the Oscars let me reach an entirely new network of clientele.
I also feel building my reputation over the years with smaller events helped me get to this next level of growth and opportunities.
What do you think helped you build your reputation within your market?
Building a solid reputation means backing up what you say . Your network is your network. Build loyalty and trust with the people around you and you will never go broke . .
