We were lucky to catch up with Tony Marra recently and have shared our conversation below.
Alright, Tony thanks for taking the time to share your stories and insights with us today. Can you talk to us about a project that’s meant a lot to you?
Reducing our carbon footprint while bringing attention to EcoART . We wanted to teach our granddaughters & the the oldest said we need to teach tourist about Ecofriendly art/craft projects so you can teach art/history/science all while making memories ! My 10 granddaughter said PawPaw you taught me to paint can’t YOU teach others how to be Greener when we create memories? This is why PasQuali Paints was created

Tony, before we move on to more of these sorts of questions, can you take some time to bring our readers up to speed on you and what you do?
I’ve been in the design world for over 35 years. When Covid hit my job as product designer for coastal carolina was DONE. For years I had to get prices for gift shops/tourist shops cheap enough for tourist. Covid not only taught us to be more Ecofriendly it also taught us to look for USA made. Each month the only thing to do was look forward to pop up paint parties with my grands. My Neighbors saw what I was doing and were nosey and they wanted some of what we can the fairytale. In our fairytale we collect ole ladies turn them into unicorns by teaching them how to be creative with Ecofriendly historic ways.. kinda like going to Williamsburg VA but just in an art history workshop
Is there a particular goal or mission driving your creative journey?
To reuse, recycle repurpose and reduce our carbon footprint ,all while education of historic art/craft techniques

What’s the most rewarding aspect of being a creative in your experience?
Slowing down and truly understand how they did it hundreds of years ago and teaching that to others that are toooo connect to technology
