Tonio , looking forward to hearing all of your stories today. We’d love to hear about when you first realized that you wanted to pursue a creative path professionally.
The first time that I knew I wanted to pursue music I was around 7-8 years old. I went to the studio for the first time with my older cousins and I was just amazed. I was writing and let them hear me rap- everyone went crazy. From that moment I told myself I wanted that same reaction from millions of fans one day.
Awesome – so before we get into the rest of our questions, can you briefly introduce yourself to our readers.
I am a music artist by the name of Tonio, Tonio The Great. I got into the music industry seriously around 11 years. I took a break for a while but I couldn’t stay away for too long because I truly love music. What sets me apart from everyone is I’m me, I’m Tonio at all times unapologetically. I feel that being authentic in todays time is something that automatically sets you apart because it’s rare.
What’s the most rewarding aspect of being a creative in your experience?
To me the most rewarding aspect of being a artist is listening to your art and then getting others reactions to your art. It’s a amazing feeling when you know your heart was put into it.
What do you think is the goal or mission that drives your creative journey?
What’s driving me is everything- my past, my current, and thoughts of my future. When you feel you have nothing to lose but everything to gain, your drive is dangerous. I’m the UNDEFEATED UNDERDAWG.
