Tonia, thanks for joining us, excited to have you contributing your stories and insights. What’s been the most meaningful project you’ve worked on?
La Marque Kindness Rocks Project is the most meaningful project I have worked on. Our goal is to cultivate connections within communities and lift others up through kindness rocks garden communities.
Great, appreciate you sharing that with us. Before we ask you to share more of your insights, can you take a moment to introduce yourself and how you got to where you are today to our readers
Formerly known as Mainland Kindness Rocks Project in 2019. Khambrel Foundation decided to find an official location to ensure the community can easily participate in promoting kindness. Our goal was to impact bullying our youth face in schools, drown out the negativity taking over our communities and unite others to be the change making a kind difference. We have hosted more than #50 rock painting parties, creating 10 rock garden communities, painted more than #2,000 kindness rocks and worked with 13 student groups, organizations and businesses to further our cause.
What do you think is the goal or mission that drives your creative journey?
At Khambrel Foundation our core mission is to impact the social well-being of others by encouraging individuals to promote kind acts every day to make a positive change that touches lives globally. Righteous Acts of Kindness was the driving force for the La Marque Kindness Rocks project. Participants meet new people while creating Kindness rocks, kind conversations and positive atmosphere
Looking back, are there any resources you wish you knew about earlier in your creative journey?
Our rock group were the winners of an Instagram contest in which we won Rock painting supplies and accessories. We quickly discovered that there was an easy and simpler way to help participants increase their creative juices, save on the cost of supplies and garner more participants. I encourage all creatives to make sure we connect to every possible resource.
