Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Toni Hall. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.

Hi Toni, thanks for joining us today. We believe kindness is contagious and so we’d love for you to share with us and our audience about the kindest thing anyone has ever done for you?

The kindest thing anyone has ever done for me was extend a helping hand of service to me and my business. Fall of 2023 a customer comes into my store and during conversation we discovered we had mutual acquaintances from her home town. At this particular time I was fully staffed and didn’t have any intentions on hiring anyone new but she was unaware of that information. She shopped and as I was ringing her up, she stated if I ever needed any help with anything let her know. Me being me I took it lightly because people volunteer help all the time and when you need it, they are no where to be found. Months later into the new year I made staffing changes and needed a new employee. I decide to take the young lady up on her offer and to my surprise she showed up and has been a great help ever since.

Toni, before we move on to more of these sorts of questions, can you take some time to bring our readers up to speed on you and what you do?

I’m Toni Hall and I am the owner of Spiritual Elite Candle Co metaphysical store located in Fortworth Tx. We provide spiritual tools and services that consist of candles, intention oils, spiritual baths, energy cleanses and tarot readings. The idea to open a metaphysical store came directly from my ancestors and spiritual guides. I had no intentions on opening a store but I’m glad I listened. The thing I’m most proud of is having the ability to help change people’s lives. People come into my store with all types of problems from health to financial issues. With my spiritual gifts I’m capable of identifying the problems and offer a variety of solutions to fix them.

We’d love to hear your thoughts about selling platforms like Amazon/Etsy vs selling on your own site.

All of the products I offer are available through my Etsy Shop as well as DoorDash. Having an Ecommerce is a must for businesses that offer products because it’s another way to spread awareness about your business because they market for you. With Etsy I’m able to ship products locally and internationally. With DoorDash it’s a way to get the products to the customers especially if they don’t have the means or just can’t make it to the store. Helping people is what I do so these services provide a way for my customers to always be able to get what they need when they need it.

What’s worked well for you in terms of a source for new clients?

The best source for new clients has definitely been social media and word of mouth. With a consistent marketing schedule that has allowed me to always be able to get new content out on Facebook, Instagram and TikTok. With ads running consistently they reach thousands if not millions of people on a daily basis. Customers fall in love with the store when they visit and of course they can’t wait to share with others the hidden gem they found.
