We’re excited to introduce you to the always interesting and insightful Toni Abdo. We hope you’ll enjoy our conversation with Toni below.
Toni , thanks for taking the time to share your stories with us today How did you get your first job in the field that you practice in today?
My passion for health and fitness started at an early age when I started martial arts training.
After becoming the two-time European and World Champion, I spent time studying Kung Fu at the distinguished and renowned Shaolin Temple in China.
I understands the mechanics and fundamental discipline required to be successful in mind and body transformation!
I have over 25 years of experience working with clients and witnessing their transformations, and during that time I had the pleasure of successfully coaching over 500 clients.
A special highlight of my career includes working as a coach behind the scenes for the ABC hit television show, “Extreme Makeover – Weight Loss Edition” for seasons 1 and 2.
Toni , love having you share your insights with us. Before we ask you more questions, maybe you can take a moment to introduce yourself to our readers who might have missed our earlier conversations?
My main job is to help people find their true passion through their fitness journey and teach them on how to find their “WHY” I truly believe that if you have a strong WHY, you are not just focusing on losing the weight but mostly on how to change your habits and learn how to fall in love with building new habits to help you be successful with your journey to your transformation.
Transformation is not just about weight loss, it’s about building a healthy mindset to help you along with your journey to have a sustainable path to succeed.
I provide evidence based practice nutrition, supplementation and training lessons to my clients ands educate them on the latest researches so they are successful.
Training and knowledge matter of course, but beyond that what do you think matters most in terms of succeeding in your field?
to succeed you have to learn on how create a vision with a goal. You have to create new habits to help you replace the old habits.
Life is journey based, not destination based. It’s the trip, not the endpoint. Choose your friends wisely. Choose friends, who are resilient and not afraid to fail. Surround yourself with people that push you to do better with higher goals and higher motivation.
Can you tell us about what’s worked well for you in terms of growing your clientele?
Is to connect with them weekly via zoom call and work with them on setting weekly smart goals. listen to them and support them and never judge them.
