We caught up with the brilliant and insightful Tom Diverio a few weeks ago and have shared our conversation below.

Tom , thanks for taking the time to share your stories with us today What’s been the most meaningful project you’ve worked on?

We are constantly working closely with our residential clients to make their dream homes become a reality. All our client’s

projects are meaningful to us. Understanding how our clients live and function is a huge part of our process in designing their

home. Our team excels at creating functional spaces that are designed specifically for our client’s lifestyle.

We take great pride in creating a cohesive story throughout each home. We ensure that the interiors and exteriors of each

residence are integrated with both the architecture and it’s natural surroundings

Tom , love having you share your insights with us. Before we ask you more questions, maybe you can take a moment to introduce yourself to our readers who might have missed our earlier conversations?

I attended the University of Miami, School of Architecture and had always worked at architecture firms prior to meeting

Charlotte. I was hired to work for Charlotte as a project manager and then several years later became her partner.

We re-named her firm, Dunagan Diverio. With my architectural background and her interior design expertise, we have created

our own niche within the industry. We offer a more comprehensive interior architecture package for our high end residential

clients.

In 2016, the firm evolved into Dunagan Diverio Design Group, a team of discreet professionals with their focus on interiors

and exteriors with a deeper, richer, more intuitive understanding of the client’s needs; to uncover the true objective driving

the design of the home. Dunagan Diverio Design Group believes in building meaningful relationships with their clients and

approaching each project with a distinctive and personal process; with special attention to detail.

With the ability and flexibility to design projects ranging from ultra modern to very traditional, Dunagan Diverio Design Group

is able to tackle every project type with confidence and knowledge.

We’d love to hear about you met your business partner.

I was searching for a new opportunity. Fortunately, my resume was handed to Charlotte, my “now” partner, through a mutual

vendor. I happen to be a musician and drummer and one of her employees had a son who was a drummer. So, I was invited in

for an interview and the rest is history.

Where do you think you get most of your clients from?

Word of Mouth and editorials. Most of our clients have more than one home which is to our advantageous and luckily our

clients tend to refer us to other potential clients. We are focused on providing an intimate relationship with each and every

client. Every project and client is different and requires a different way of thinking in order to achieve the greatest possible

outcome.
