Perseverance may sound cliche, but it’s really the whole game. Commitment to an idea with the follow-through work hours can not be overstated as being the most important part of any business.

Awesome – so before we get into the rest of our questions, can you briefly introduce yourself to our readers.
After many years of varying types of jobs and positions, I decided to start an online cigar business. That company provided me with the solid foundation of e-commerce that would help power Furnish Me Vintage. Along with a solid discipline for problem solving and creative expression, my toolbox was full of the essentials.
We’d love to hear about how you met your business partner.
I met my wife while working at an upscale restaurant and banquet facility back home, in upstate New York. I had no idea we would end up getting married and growing a business partnership that would span decades.
We’d love to hear the story of how you turned a side-hustle into a something much bigger.
Furnish Me Vintage started out a small garage attached to my house in Florida in 2010. I was working full time as a marketing assistant for a real estate company, and began collecting vintage furniture in my spare time. As my collection grew, I had to get rid of some of the overflow. Soon my garage became a make-shift shop. This side-hustle quickly began to outpace my salaried work. I put in my 2-weeks notice and went full steam with my cottage industry. Furnish Me Vintage was born out of that garage, and would occupy a 30 thousand square foot building only 5 years later.
