Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to TJ Jones . We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.
TJ, looking forward to hearing all of your stories today. What do you think it takes to be successful?
There are so many formulas when it comes to success. I think the first question is what is success for you? How do you define that because it will look different for every person. According to Earl Nightinagle book The Strangest Secret-Success is the progressive realization of a worthy goal or ideal.
I do believe many would agree that consistency plays a huge role in what success may look like. The more consist you are with whatever your goal is the easier it becomes to acheive it. If you focus all of your energy time and for TRIAURIC its the ability to give film makers the ability to create with out hassle, and develop personal and meaningful connection to our clients to establish a great working relationship that is built on mutual trust and understanding.
As always, we appreciate you sharing your insights and we’ve got a few more questions for you, but before we get to all of that can you take a minute to introduce yourself and give our readers some of your back background and context?
My background comes from Social Work, Social Justice and Case management & overall Social Work. I transitioned careers when a mentor told me about an apprenticeship program by Rob Hardy called Amazing Stories foundation, after being selected, there I realized a natural talent I had was producing and ensuring projects got up and going from start to finish.

Is there mission driving your creative journey?
I consider myself a Story teller and a purveyor of truth, I feel obliged to tell stories that uplift and showcase my peoples creative talent in a way they feel seen and heard, the long and short my mission is ensuring I create an environment that fosters support, innovation and creativity. So telling stories that are meaningful, powerful and evoke emotion and response. As a producer I have to ensure all the elements are there to create Art.
We’d love to hear a story of resilience from your journey.
As a producer, you are tasked with the job to consistently be problem solving, As soon as you put out one fire there’s three to four others brewing slowly. So it’s a matter of being able to calmly handle whatever is thrown your way. A time that truly tested my resilience was when we were shooting and got kicked out of a location we feel due to discriminatory reason but we had to pivot immediately and have a back up plan which we did not expect to get kicked out, nonetheless thinking on my feet and figuring out how best to use the very little resources I had at the time kicked in and we were able to smoothly transition to another location not loosing a lot of shooting time,
