Alright, Tiwan & Antwinette thanks for taking the time to share your stories and insights with us today. How did you come up with the idea for your business?
My husband Tiwan Twitty would always buy me bath & body works candles.
He started thinking of how much he spent on their products & turned that into making his own SOY CANDLE! He’s the master mind of our business! I have to be honest I wasn’t on board with him making candles seeing that we both work full time jobs, parents & that comes with ALL the things church, school, sports etc. He continued his candle journey for a year until I finally decided to join him lol
I’m so excited to be on his Team! CANDLE making has been fun, busy & relaxing! It has definitely been a learning experience. It has given us great opportunities for meeting new people & many doors

As I stated in the 1st question It was all my husband’s idea! I am Proud of him, his dreams & for allowing me to tag along side of him on this candle making journey. Our product gets great feedback from customers.
We Value our family & friends for the love & support. A HUGE THANK YOU TO OUR TEAM, MY MOTHER PANDORA KEETER FOR ALWAYS GOING ABOVE & BEYOND! Also to YOLANDA SCOTT-BOONE . We are proud that our product is clean & safe being that it is soy wax! Our candles are made in house & Hand-poured by my husband & I.

What do you think helped you build your reputation within your market?
I believe going to local markets & word of mouth has helped us build our business!
Can you share a story from your journey that illustrates your resilience?
Being in the candle is not for the weak! We have busy & we have slow days. On our slow days we don’t give up because a customer doesn’t come in we just keep pushing ourselves looking for more ways to sell & push our product!!!
