We caught up with the brilliant and insightful Tina Razquin a few weeks ago and have shared our conversation below.
Tina , thanks for joining us, excited to have you contributing your stories and insights. Coming up with the idea is so exciting, but then comes the hard part – executing. Too often the media ignores the execution part and goes from idea to success, skipping over the nitty, gritty details of executing in the early days. We think that’s a disservice both to the entrepreneurs who built something amazing as well as the public who isn’t getting a realistic picture of what it takes to succeed. So, we’d really appreciate if you could open up about your execution story – how did you go from idea to execution?
Tina embodies the relentless pursuit of the American Dream—a dream she chased with determination and grit. She didn’t just immigrate to the United States; she came here with a vision to build something lasting, something that would contribute to the fabric of this great nation. Today, that vision has flourished. Her handcrafted leather wine bags, created with passion and skill, are now proudly part of very important brands corporate gifts
Tina , before we move on to more of these sorts of questions, can you take some time to bring our readers up to speed on you and what you do?
Vintium is a meeting place for wine and longing, to explore and learn. Behind the grin of a logo are my dreams, still very close to those dreamt back at the Uruguayan countryside.
I was born in Uruguay, a place where even the tiniest dream ends with the horizon and where the mind can imagine the impossible.
She lived with intense joy, the kind of joy of those who appreciate the everlasting present. Being only a teenager, she sailed out to explore a world that she had always felt as her own, only armed with a backpack filled with hope.
Australia, Argentina, Brazil, France, Switzerland, Greece, Spain, Italy, USA and many other lands danced before her eyes leaving behind profound memories, feelings, music, vivid scents, intense colors and flavors for the soul.
Vintium was born as an expression of her heart, it is also an echo of the countryside, horses, mate, grandparents and many laughs.
We’d love to hear a story of resilience from your journey.
But these bags are more than just beautifully crafted accessories. They are a powerful symbol of Tina’s journey—one that mirrors the very principles that define America. Each bag, made from the finest Argentinian leather, tells a story of resilience, freedom, and strength. They are a reminder that no matter where we come from, the desire to create, to contribute, and to build a legacy is universal.
We often hear about learning lessons – but just as important is unlearning lessons. Have you ever had to unlearn a lesson?
In a world where shortcuts are often sought, Tina chose the path of honor and integrity. Her work reminds us that America remains a beacon for those willing to bring their best to this land, to contribute their talents, and to embrace the opportunities that only this country can offer.
