We’re excited to introduce you to the always interesting and insightful Tina Germain. We hope you’ll enjoy our conversation with Tina below.
Tina, thanks for joining us, excited to have you contributing your stories and insights. The first dollar your business earns is always special and we’d love to hear how your brand made its first dollar of revenue.
I had been doing healing work for two decades and was always continuing my education. In November of 2012, after a couple months of new and amazing classes, one day I just knew it was time to start my own business. I had no doubts, no hesitations, because it felt so right. So, the day after my birthday at the end of the month, I sent an email to everyone I knew telling them of my new business. It was a big leap in visibility because many people didn’t realize that I had been doing and teaching meditation and healing since I was in my early 20s.
My girlfriend wrote me back that her cousin would love a session and that’s how it began. That first client, Wendy, was my angel! She was super supportive, loved what I did, started seeing me regularly, and sent everyone she knew to me. Eventually I was able to quit my day job thanks to her and the other beautiful friends in my life who sent me clients. However, I owe so much to Wendy and give her such tremendous gratitude!!

Tina, before we move on to more of these sorts of questions, can you take some time to bring our readers up to speed on you and what you do?
I was one of those children who saw ghosts and other energies, however it wasn’t until I began psychic training in my early 20s that it became a positive experience.
After graduating from college, I moved out to San Francisco where I began to explore personal growth and metaphysics. I was drawn to the Marin Psychic Institute, which was a division of the Berkeley Psychic Institute, and quickly entered the teacher training program where I began teaching all levels of both meditation and healing classes, from beginner to advanced. I worked there for 7 years before moving to Los Angeles.
Once in Los Angeles, I was introduced to the personal growth work of Lazaris. Through that work, I learned how to work with my shadow and all the dark emotions there, as well as deepening my ability to work with certain aspects of self: our inner child, inner adolescent, and negative ego. I also took extensive classes in Theta Healing and Spiritual Response Therapy.
I do one on one Intuitive Healing sessions. At its core, I do clairvoyant energy and light work. Meaning, not only can I psychically “see” what’s going on with a client, but I also then use light to release the stuck energy and bring them into greater coherence within themselves. I use light the way a tuning fork healer uses sound. I also have strong intuitive senses of hearing, knowing and feeling information so I’m not just seeing it psychically. My specialty is working on the emotions behind an issue that’s arising in a client’s life. But nothing is off the table. Sometimes past lives come up to be healed, and sometimes loved ones who’ve passed join in. I never know what to expect.
I started a weekly blog in January 2018, and a YouTube channel in 2023, to teach tools and techniques to help my clients and readers/followers empower themselves. Empowering others is my passion, as well as helping others overcome their obstacles to become more of their Truer Selves. I wrote a book pertaining to this that I’m excited to publish in 2025!
How do you keep in touch with clients and foster brand loyalty?
My weekly blog has been key! I love writing, so to share techniques or ideas- things to help others- is also a great way to stay connected! Plus I do fun things like Oracle card readings every so often that my readers love!!
Brand loyalty comes from my relationships with my clients and the work I do with them. I hold a very safe and sacred space in which to clear constricting energy, so my clients feel lighter and more free afterwards.

Are there any books, videos, essays or other resources that have significantly impacted your management and entrepreneurial thinking and philosophy?
Yes! I LOVE Marie Forleo!! Her B-School program was instrumental! She teaches every aspect of being an entrepreneur in a way that’s easy to implement and follow. I’ve taken 2 of her other programs as well and learn so much from her business wise. She’s been key for me!
