Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Tina Falk. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.
Tina, thanks for taking the time to share your stories with us today What’s the kindest thing anyone has ever done for you?
The kindest thing anyone has ever done for me happened in 2012.
My Feng Shui Master asked me to meet up with her. She announced she was ready to retire and passed the torch to me.
What she gifted me in that moment…..she saw me. Me!
She valued the work I had done and trusted me with her feng shui school.
This was huge for me. It was exhilarating and oh so scary. I even tried to talk her out of it.
She has been there for me since day one (in 2005). We have a unique back-story and it’s something that has bonded us for life.
I am and will forever be grateful for her sharing her wisdom, allowing me to be curious, and her loving and supporting me like family.

Tina, love having you share your insights with us. Before we ask you more questions, maybe you can take a moment to introduce yourself to our readers who might have missed our earlier conversations?
Feng Shui had always seemed like a natural fit for me, but I didn’t do much to pursue it. But then out of synchronistic events, it was right there in my lap and the timing was perfect!
It was along my spiritual journey that began in 1995. From diving deep into the woo-woo world of chakras, numerology, channeling, mystic retreats, to studying under a Buddhist meditation master—feng shui followed—and now informs the rest of my world.
I am a Professional Feng Shui Eductator, Chinese Astrologer and Metaphysician.
I train and certify feng shui practitioners through live remote training programs. I have graduates from all over the world and several local in Utah.
Chinese Astrology (the re-imagined and intuitive version I practice and teach) is my portal. The information gained within these charts and readings takes feng shui beyond the obvious…into the world of magic and self-empowerment.
Training and knowledge matter of course, but beyond that what do you think matters most in terms of succeeding in your field?
My intuition, has been the most helpful in creating a successful feng shui business and school.
Of course there have been people and 17 years of experience that have contributed….but….
My business is intuitively run. When I feel moved or guided…I act upon it.
I spent years and years trying to follow the models, experts, algorithms and statistics.
It’s not my jam, and it took way too long for me to surrender to that and just lean into my innate intuition.
Any stories or insights that might help us understand how you’ve built such a strong reputation?
One of the things my feng shui master said to me when she gifted me her school in 2012 was “Tina, you walk and talk your light.”
I’m pretty humble and do my best every day to live up to the greatness my teachers and masters saw in me.
This isn’t a dog and pony show. I’m a super Type E (empath) personality and am very intentional in the energy I am showing up with.
I am selective in who I invite into my training program. And I have worked hard to have a clear and strong presence (reputation) in this industry.
I believe appropriate standards need to be met and will champion for proper education and effort within the industry.
I also create feng shui tools (I have a 32 year design background) for newbies and seasoned practitioners (available on my Etsy site).
