Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Tina Bridges. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.
Tina, thanks for taking the time to share your stories with us today Let’s start with what makes profitability in your industry a challenge – what would you say is the biggest challenge?
I think finding sponsors right I do it all alone and I would love to find sponsors to support this movement and make other over 40 models feel and look good. It’s not just an age it’s an attitude
As always, we appreciate you sharing your insights and we’ve got a few more questions for you, but before we get to all of that can you take a minute to introduce yourself and give our readers some of your background and context?
I got started in the industry in 2012 because there wasn’t a need for models over the age 40. When I turn 40 I still felt beautiful and young but was being denied because of my age. Once I realize I didn’t have to get off the road I created my own Ageless Beauty models ages 40 and over
We’d love to hear the story of how you built up your social media audience?
When doing a business in fashion you need a lot of marketing know how. It’s not easy getting people to believe in you better yet buy a ticket. I tell people it’s a lot of smiling kissing babies and staying in people faces supporting other businesses and knowing that your brand is much more than your logo
Where do you think you get most of your clients from?
Just word-of-mouth always a good thing people speaking about your company can be negative or be positive and help your business grow. When your name in rooms you’re not you doing a good job. This guy once said to me when you walk into a room at least 2 people should know you and if they don’t you need to meet them so they will next time.
