Today we’d like to introduce you to Tim Willis.

Hi Tim, thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, maybe you can tell our readers some of your backstory.
My name is Tim Willis, and I am a seasoned photographer with a passion for capturing the beauty and emotion of life through my lens.

I first developed my love for photography during my high school years, where I took as many classes as possible and spent countless hours in the dark room. This passion continued to grow through college, where I honed my skills in film development.

As the industry shifted towards digital photography, I faced challenges in keeping up with the latest equipment and technology. However, my passion for photography never waned. A decade later, I acquired a digital camera and began to re-explore the art form, learning to master digital editing tools and techniques.

Now, I’m dedicated to mastering all aspects of photography and developing my own unique style. My goal is to capture the beauty and emotion of every moment and create lasting memories for my clients.

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Photography, so many things that need to be shared.

Finding who I am as a photographer is an ever growing and non stop adventure. I want to photograph everything, sadly I know that I cannot.
The path has not always been fun or easy, sometimes I think I should just quit. My life would feel very empty if I gave up on my art though. I know I can’t quit, I have so much more to show the world.

Perfecting my skills is first and foremost my goal. Learning everything I can about the wonderful world of photography is a passion in of itself.
The road to where I am now has been a long road with many different paths and obstacles along the way.
Finding what it is that I am most passionate about putting in front of my lens has been one of the harder obstacles to get past.

My love for people and emotion eventually showed me the correct path, human portraits.
Whether that be showing human nature or putting someone’s best look forward, or showing how beautiful humans are in every aspect of living life from all walks of life.

Learning that people don’t see themselves as I see them has helped tremendously as well.

Combining all aspects of my life has been an incredibly hard process for my love of animals, motorbikes, and the service industry. How do I show the world how much those things mean to me and those like me. That is a question I am constantly asking myself.

What can I do next to show the world how I see it. How can I be faithfull to myself while showing my art, or creating art for customers.
Another hurdle, getting clients to choose my art to help them create memories. All of these challenges I accept with welcome arms, because it’s what I want to do.
I know the right clients will find me, and believe in what I do.
The feelings I get from people choosing my art is always worth it. No matter the challenges.

I am a photographer.

I specialize in photographing people.

I would say I am most know for my black and white portraits, and my work with motorbikes and models.

No matter the job I stay true to my style, people choose me to help them create lasting memories based on the work I have already done. Keeping that thought fresh in my mind is what keeps me going to create my art for people. Knowing that they want my style and I shouldn’t waver to make others happy.

If you had to, what characteristic of yours would you give the most credit to?
Being humble. I know that I am lucky to be chosen to create art for people. They don’t have to choose me but they do, and I am forever grateful to them for that.
