We caught up with the brilliant and insightful Tiffony Coleman a few weeks ago and have shared our conversation below.

Hi Tiffony, thanks for joining us today. Let’s kick things off with your mission – what is it and what’s the story behind why it’s your mission?

I started out giving back to the community save our community and youth (socay) by doing so I noticed so many kids loved music wich drove me to entertainment from there I’ve been able to help a lot of kids focus on there music career and not the streets it allowed them a outing and I’ve grown from there

As always, we appreciate you sharing your insights and we’ve got a few more questions for you, but before we get to all of that can you take a minute to introduce yourself and give our readers some of your back background and context?

I’ve always been a loving caring person so home health and patient care came naturally which launched me to open my own business E&T caring hands where I care for your loved ones to keep them in the environment they know and love by doing that I started giving back to my community yearly self funded with my Save the Community and youth (socay) it allowed me to work with the kids and community to see where I could be of help in the environment I once lived by doing so I bonded with the kids and there music from there I opened TC entertainment LLC where we do music management, media, recording studio, showcases and register and code music we also work with independent artist with low budgets to get them heard nation wide is my passion so I don’t do it for a money grab I also have my own podcast where we interview business owners, artist and talk about life I believe if you have a nice platform you should use it to spread love and positivity not mess by being a positive person you will gain a lot of backlash and jealousy but don’t let that defeat you keep going and growing and you’ll reap the benefits in the end

How did you put together the initial capital you needed to start your business?

Self funding your dreams can be hard I’ve went broke and lost a lot but I kept going cause who else gone believe in me more than me I can say my mom was my biggest supporter no matter what I faced she still prayed for me and encouraged me to keep going with that being said never give up no matter what you face in life

We often hear about learning lessons – but just as important is unlearning lessons. Have you ever had to unlearn a lesson?

I had to learn in the industry everyone is not your friend or have the good intentions as you trust no one everybody thinks it’s a competition when we all need to work together instead of trying to tear each other down and be little each other it’s crazy especially in Alabama we all still hear so why we fighting and knocking the next person nun off us have made it out or getting no big money if we was we wouldn’t still be here get it together people we in the same place we started let’s stop the hate and disrespect me personally I’m to old for it and I’m just not gone entertain it but respect to the ones I work with like me that see the bigger picture we moving around out here making memories and opening doors for the ones who get the picture
