Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Tiffiney Cheairs. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.
Tiffiney, appreciate you joining us today. Can you talk to us about a risk you’ve taken – walk us through the story?
TAKING A RISK!!!! In all honesty where do I start? To begin, I will say, leaving my full time job of 12 years to start my own business was a risk in itself!! I was introduced this business opportunity over 9 years ago, but honestly I didn’t believe it would work for me as I saw it work for so many others. Over time, I began to work on myself through personal development and counseling as well, and I developed this belief system for myself that if someone else can do it, SO CAN I!!! So that’s when those risks started. I started to believe in TIFFINEY.
In February of 2020, I left my job of 12 years. It didn’t make sense to anyone but it didn’t need to make sense to anyone other than me. I started getting serious about helping others that wanted to to achieve weight-loss goals and ultimately started selling loaded teas and meal replacement shakes from my house until one day my husband said, “We have to do something else because you are taking over the kitchen with your tea orders”. From there, I took another risk and started looking for a commercial location. Found what seemed to be the perfect spot, and my FAITH in God, and with the help of family and friends, I was able to open that location in 2021.
Fast-forward to today, I am here in my second location all on yet another RISK and lets not forget my Faith in God! My first location taught me how to run a successful business. It taught me the ins and outs. It showed me the things I needed for this second space. I personally grew in that first space by taking a risk. I often hear, “TAKE THE RISK OR LOOSE THE CHANCE’. And I would like to think that my faith in God has developed me into a RISK TAKER.

Tiffiney, before we move on to more of these sorts of questions, can you take some time to bring our readers up to speed on you and what you do?
I would love to share about myself and my business. I started my business simply wanting to lose weight myself. I always knew that I wanted to help others, but I was unclear on how to be completely honest with you. I started school for respiratory therapy but was put on bed rest when I was pregnant with my daughter and I never went back to school. But over time, I still had this desire of helping others. After having my daughter, I went into a depression, because she was born 10 weeks early and had to stay in the NICU for over 6 weeks. And that took a toll on me! But I knew that I had to climb my way out of this funk that I was in.
A year after my daughter, I was weighing almost 300lbs and I knew I wanted and needed to make a change, not only for me but for my daughter as well. I got started on Herbalife products and fell in love with my initial results which was losing nearly 17lbs in the first 30 days and I also noticed my energy was amazing. I then was introduced to the business of Herbalife, where I begin to show my family and friends how they could get results as well.
I never knew that, that’s where my passion was. I began to really enjoy helping others acheive small weight goals that ultimately lead to bigger goals as well.
One thing that I’m most proud of is that I have not given up on myself or my business, even during a pandemic. I took a RISK and leap of faith and opened a space where I’m able to love on my customers, but I’m also able to help them reach their goals through nutrition.

Any insights you can share with us about how you built up your social media presence?
SOCIAL MEDIA IS A JOB IN ITSELF!!! But social media is how I’ve built my business. Social media helps you to engage with your customers. It also give you a chance to get customer feedback and build customer loyalty. My mentor tells me all the time, “If you aren’t posting about your business, people think your business is closed”. That sticks with me daily! Even when I’m not in the mood to post anything on social media, its still a MUST! I’ve learned that people love consistency!! And consistency is what I give. Even if it means scheduling out my posts for the week so that I won’t get too busy or tired and forget. I’m a wife, mother, sister, friend, cousin and business owner so scheduling my posts are very important for me! It helps tremendously and it gives my customers that consistency!!
