We were lucky to catch up with TIFFANY VINSON recently and have shared our conversation below.
TIFFANY, looking forward to hearing all of your stories today. Looking back, what’s an important lesson you learned at a prior job
I know that in my business, some lessons weren’t always taught in school, but through life experiences. I worked as a personal banker for a large bank, this particular location was unique because there was such a diverse range of clients from ages, financial & social status.
What I learned by working at this particular branch was that each one of the staff truly gave our best to serve our guests.
We were known for the way that we cared for our clients, it was all goodness in the atmosphere.
I was raised to treat people good, and working in an atmosphere that provided that is what I will always carry at the heart of who I am and for those whom I serve.
You could be dealing with an angel, I will never block my blessings by not being humble and being a good steward.
TIFFANY, love having you share your insights with us. Before we ask you more questions, maybe you can take a moment to introduce yourself to our readers who might have missed our earlier conversations?

Learning and unlearning are both critical parts of growth – can you share a story of a time when you had to unlearn a lesson?
The lesson that I’ve had to unlearn is the notion that I had to “hustle” to be seen, and heard in order to be successful in business.
I would do lives and post and that all felt draining, It just wasn’t me. It took some time for me to realize that I wanted to be me, without the bells and whistles, that my clients would be attracted to the brand for how I carried and connected with myself.
I had to first become comfortable being seen in my wheelchair, when I did that the journey fully started. I relied on my past work experiences to better serve my guests, I pulled from being an ex-flight attendant, previous personal banker, and finance manager and even relying on my grandmother to remind me that all of the things that I’ve experienced was to serve me in my entrepreneurial journey.
That there, was all I needed…not the “hustle” mentality.
How about pivoting – can you share the story of a time you’ve had to pivot?
To date the biggest pivot that I’ve had to experience is having to adjust to the reality living with Multiple Sclerosis (MS). Which affects my walking. So from walking in heels to now have to use a mobile wheelchair, gives a new perspective in how I move, physically, mentally, and spiritually.
Every move causes me to access how to maneuver, which is a blessing because it carries me in my business, and business relationships. Slow down, don’t rush and go to get along… but to find another way, sometimes is a bit slower & longer, but a much peaceful & rewarding journey.
I’ll take it.
