We were lucky to catch up with Tiffany Tillman recently and have shared our conversation below.
Tiffany, thanks for taking the time to share your stories with us today Let’s talk about innovation. What’s the most innovative thing you’ve done in your career?
Great question! I recently completed my first documentary on the artists of Platinum Crown Management in Macon, GA! With the help of Gary Watkins as the Videographer and Perry Clarke as the Director, they really helped bring my vision to life! Initially, I didn’t know anything about putting together a project like this, but I knew what I wanted it to look like. After watching the Kanye West and Lil Baby documentary, it gave me a foundation to start from. In order to achieve the raw authenticity I desired we included old cell phone videos in combination with professional camera footage to really boost the aesthetics of the film. My contribution and ideas to the documentary landed me the title of Executive Producer. As a CEO, manager and entrepreneur I consider this to be innovation to the highest degree. Not everyone can say they have completed or been a participant of a documentary. Our goal is to have it streaming on Tubi very soon, so be on the lookout for Crown Me: The uprise of Platinum Crown Management.
Great, appreciate you sharing that with us. Before we ask you to share more of your insights, can you take a moment to introduce yourself and how you got to where you are today to our readers.
I’m a certified Life and Confidence Coach specializing in professional development for youth and young adults in the entertainment industry. When I’m not working my 9-5 job or coaching, I provide managerial services to individuals such as college students, new entrepreneurs, rappers, disc jockeys, influencers and content creators. I assist my clients with organizing and achieving their goals in a timely fashion. Most people know what they would like to accomplish but lack the time management and organizational skills to get it done. What set me apart as a manager and a life coach is my event planning capabilities and my innovative ideals. I also allow the client to set and achieve their goals without adding unnecessary pressure or guilt if they don’t finish them.
What do you find most rewarding about being a creative?
The most rewarding aspect of being an artist or creative is the sheer ability to visualize an unique idea, create a strategy, and execute the plan! Seeing it come to fruition, whether it’s successful or not, is truly a reward! Only a small percentage of the world’s population have the gift of consistency, courage and resilience.
Looking back, are there any resources you wish you knew about earlier in your creative journey?
I honestly wish I was more familiar with the free resource we all have access too and that’s social media! The marketing capabilities are extensive once you gain expertise with setting your algorithm to meet your specific demographic! This automatically expands your platforms to a larger audience without much costs to you. That’s an amazing resource, that you can apply from the comfort of your bed.
