Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Tiffany Smith. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.

Tiffany, appreciate you joining us today. Earning a full time living from one’s creative career can be incredibly difficult. Have you been able to do so and if so, can you share some of the key parts of your journey and any important advice or lessons that might help creatives who haven’t been able to yet?

I’ve followed my creative passion from the very young age of 5. Fortunately, it wasn’t something I was willing to let go, I pursued 2 creative degrees a Bachelor of Science Degree in Graphic Design and an Associates Degree in Photography. My career has been incredibly fulfilling, I’ve been earning a full salary since graduation, I’m very excited to continue my journey.

Tiffany, before we move on to more of these sorts of questions, can you take some time to bring our readers up to speed on you and what you do?

My biggest mission as an artist is to connect people together authentically and organically, meaning, if my story could be somewhat relatable to someone who is struggling on their creative journey, I hope my story and success empowers and inspires that person to continue following their hearts desire.

Looking back, are there any resources you wish you knew about earlier in your creative journey?

Early on in college, I wish I would have taken advantage of clubs and networking events, I feel that would have helped me get a few steps ahead early.

For you, what’s the most rewarding aspect of being a creative?

I wouldn’t say artist or creative specifically, what I would say, is being the most authentic version of yourself is the most important aspect of your life. Living authentically and following your heart allows you to be the best version of yourself. Creating a trusting and authentic environment for yourself allows you to have a beautiful relationship with you, it allows you to choose the types of people you want or don’t want in your life.
