We recently connected with Tiffany Poles and have shared our conversation below.
Tiffany, appreciate you joining us today. Can you recount a story of an unexpected problem you’ve faced along the way?
God has a way of giving you signs of things to come or needed transitions in life. For some reason I never take heed to the small signs. It took a complete earthquake for me to realize that some major shift needed to take place. There have been two major car accidents that caused me to make an uncomfortable change. But turned out for my good. My first rumble caused me to leave corporate America and pursue my braiding career full time. And boy did that pan out. Google “Typhs Braids” at your earliest convenience. My second catastrophe caused me to sit down and reflect on all that I have accomplished and what talents I have been sitting on. I have written a book that will come out in 2024 and I am further pursuing my love for coaching youth basketball. Two things I never had time to do prior to my most recent accident. Change can be scary and new and exciting. Having a supportive team around me made every hard time a stepping stone to further greatness. And I cant wait to see what the future holds. Praying, no more car accidents.
Great, appreciate you sharing that with us. Before we ask you to share more of your insights, can you take a moment to introduce yourself and how you got to where you are today to our readers.

Any stories or insights that might help us understand how you’ve built such a strong reputation?
What helped me build my reputation within my market is consistency, staying true to myself, not always following trends but creating them, sowing into others sharing my gift and lastly making my clients feel appreciative and showing them that I am grateful them choosing me over all of the other options in my area.
Let’s talk about resilience next – do you have a story you can share with us?
In 2013 I was hit by a drunk driver, I had no use of my left arm for 5.5 months. I thought i would never be able to braid again. I prayed and worked so hard to build not only my physical strength but my mental strength. I pushed towards my vision of success and exceeded even my own expectations.
