We caught up with the brilliant and insightful Tiffany Myles a few weeks ago and have shared our conversation below.
Tiffany, thanks for joining us, excited to have you contributing your stories and insights. Often outsiders look at a successful business and think it became a success overnight. Even media and especially movies love to gloss over nitty, gritty details that went into that middle phase of your business – after you started but before you got to where you are today. In our experience, overnight success is usually the result of years of hard work laying the foundation for success, but unfortunately, it’s exactly this part of the story that most of the media ignores. Can you talk to us about your scaling up story – what are some of the nitty, gritty details folks should know about?
SCALE UP, Whew it did not happen overnight and took many late nights of burning the midnight oil. I’ve been an entreprenuer for over 15 years with my hands in multiple pots to support the community. Initially I became a notary due to the need for general notary work in her area; however as the demand for notary work grew I became involved in various lines of work where being able to utilize my notary experience in multiple ways. Amora Notary Services is my third business I have established and creeping up on a three year anniversary. My steps to scaling up lead me to branch off into adding multiple services that the community would benefit from. Vision boards are my bestfriend and I’ve learned to place each business idea on their own board. Since my goal has been to have 20 streams of income before age 50, I have planned these businesses to support and aide various communities.
Awesome – so before we get into the rest of our questions, can you briefly introduce yourself to our readers.

What’s worked well for you in terms of a source for new clients?
NETWORKING and BUILDING Relationships, these both are the powerhouse of how you grow your clients.
Any stories or insights that might help us understand how you’ve built such a strong reputation?
When you set a prescence of what you offer, the rest tends to follow. I am a firm believer in treating people how you wish to be treated. In order to be seen, you have to build your brand, lay the foundation, have a support system that will give you honest feedback and put them into action as you grow.
