We were lucky to catch up with Tiffany Joyce recently and have shared our conversation below.
Tiffany Joyce, appreciate you joining us today. Being a business owner can be really hard sometimes. It’s rewarding, but most business owners we’ve spoken sometimes think about what it would have been like to have had a regular job instead. Have you ever wondered that yourself? Maybe you can talk to us about a time when you felt this way?
Ohhh, I’ve absolutely had that thought before. Honestly, more than once. Being a business owner is wild—some days you feel like a boss-ass queen changing lives, and other days you’re crying into your coffee wondering if you should just go get a 9-5 with benefits and someone else making the big decisions.
The last time I seriously thought about “just getting a regular job” was during one of those slow months where bookings felt like they had dried up overnight. I was staring at my laptop, doing all the things—posting, emailing, following up—and hearing crickets. And on top of that, my personal life was pulling me in a million directions. I remember saying to myself, “Maybe I should just get a job at Target and not be responsible for literally everything anymore.”
But then I had a client reach out who had done a session with me a year before. She told me that seeing herself through my lens changed how she shows up in the mirror and in her relationship. That she still looks at her album when she’s having a hard day. And in that moment, I was reminded: this work is deeper than pretty pictures. It’s purpose-driven. It’s soul work.
So yeah—do I sometimes fantasize about clocking out and not carrying the mental load of a full business? Yup. But would I trade the freedom, the impact, and the alignment I’ve found in doing what I love? Not a chance in hell.
Being a business owner has stretched me in ways I never expected. It’s forced me to grow, to trust myself, to keep going even when it’s hard. And the joy, the pride, the holy shit, I built this feeling? That’s something no regular job could ever give me.

Great, appreciate you sharing that with us. Before we ask you to share more of your insights, can you take a moment to introduce yourself and how you got to where you are today to our readers.
Hi! I’m Tiffany—the photographer, hype girl, and big feelings Taurus behind Hype Girl Boudoir in Jacksonville, Florida.
I got into boudoir in the most unexpected way… I was actually hired off Craigslist (yep, for real) to photograph a woman who wanted to gift some spicy photos to her fiancé. I had no idea what I was walking into—but the second we got started, I knew I had stumbled into something so much bigger than just a photo shoot. It was fun, it was empowering, and it was the kind of energy that lit my whole damn soul on fire.
That moment was the start of everything. I’ve always believed that life is way too short to not do things that feel good and meaningful—and honestly? I just followed the dopamine and this is where I landed. And I’m so glad I did.
What I do now goes so far beyond the photos. Hype Girl Boudoir is built on three core pillars:
✨ Sexual Liberation – Owning your sensuality without shame.
✨ Loving Your Body at Every Stage – Because your body is worthy now, not “when.”
✨ Finding Your True Self – Letting go of expectations and showing up as you, fully and unapologetically.
I work with women from all walks of life—mamas, brides, single babes, survivors, dream-chasers. And what sets my work apart isn’t just the fire photos (though trust me, we get those)—it’s the experience. It’s the way I hold space, the way I see you, and the way I make sure you leave feeling ten feet taller.
My favorite part? It’s always the moments after the shoot. When someone says, “I can’t believe that’s me,” or “I’ve never felt this confident before.” Those messages? That’s what I live for.
So if you’ve ever thought boudoir was only for “a certain type” of woman—I’m here to lovingly call BS. You are that woman. Right now. Exactly as you are.

What do you think is the goal or mission that drives your creative journey?
Absolutely. My mission is to help women come home to themselves—to feel empowered, sensual, confident, and fully seen, no matter what season of life they’re in.
I built this brand because I know what it feels like to look in the mirror and not recognize the person staring back. I know what it feels like to dim your light, to shrink yourself, to disconnect from your body because the world told you it wasn’t “enough” or it was “too much.” And I also know the magic that happens when you finally say, fck that*—and decide to take your power back.
Through boudoir, I get to create a space where women can feel safe to explore their sensuality, to see themselves in a new light, and to reconnect with the parts of them they’ve been told to hide. It’s not about performing for someone else—it’s about reclaiming your relationship with yourself.
My goal is always to create more than just beautiful images. I want to spark transformation. I want every woman who walks into my studio to leave feeling like she’s not just allowed to take up space—she was meant to.
That’s what drives me every damn day.

How do you keep in touch with clients and foster brand loyalty?
One of the biggest ways I stay connected with clients and build brand loyalty is through my Facebook group, Hype Girl Boudoir VIP Babe Cave—and honestly, it’s so much more than just a client group. It’s been going strong for over 10 years now (which still blows my mind), and it’s become a true safe space for thousands of women.
The Babe Cave isn’t just where I share updates or promotions—it’s where we get real. We talk about everything from sex, self-love, and body confidence to periods, identity, mental health, and all the raw, beautiful, messy parts of womanhood. It’s a space where women can show up as they are, without judgment, and be supported by a community that gets it.
A lot of my clients join long before they book a session, and they stick around long after—because it’s not just about the photos, it’s about feeling seen, heard, and empowered. We laugh, cry, hype each other up, and create a culture of genuine connection. That space is the heartbeat of my brand.
Beyond the group, I also stay connected through personal follow-ups, emails, and checking in on my clients long after their session. I truly care about the women who walk through my doors—it’s never just a transaction for me. I want them to know they’re part of something bigger, something lasting.
That ongoing connection—through shared stories, vulnerability, and real community—is what builds brand loyalty in a way no fancy marketing ever could. 💕
