We were lucky to catch up with Tiffany Jackson recently and have shared our conversation below.

Tiffany, looking forward to hearing all of your stories today. Parents can play a significant role in affecting how our lives and careers turn out – and so we think it’s important to look back and have conversations about what our parents did that affected us positive (or negatively) so that we can learn from the billions of experiences in each generation. What’s something you feel your parents did right that impacted you positively.
Both of my parents are totally different! I adore this because they brought two different sets of character traits for me to observe and embody throughout my youth and beyond. My mom is a preacher’s kid and shared her faith with me, which offers me resilience and unimaginable hope and peace. From her, I was made optimistic. My dad was in the military for twenty years, he taught me the importance of hard work ethic and discipline. From him, I was made ambitious. My parents both impacted my life and career. I am a great blend of the two of them. They did right by giving me the opportunity to live unapologetically.

Tiffany, before we move on to more of these sorts of questions, can you take some time to bring our readers up to speed on you and what you do?
Hello, I am Tiffany, CEO & Founder of Prodevrs LLC. Prodevrs is a web design and development company based in Dallas, Texas since 2016. I work with my clients to build engaging websites, marketing campaigns, and develop online courses. My passion is helping new entrepreneurs grow their brands online. Before I created Prodevrs, I previously worked for some major companies doing front-end development work and site integrations. This work helped to make my employers some pretty significant profits. Then, I had the idea of doing the same craft, but giving back to my community. I feel like this is more rewarding and purposeful. I am genuinely proud to see my clients grow and reach new heights! Any stories or insights that might help us understand how you’ve built such a strong reputation?
Networking! I am always networking. The old saying that goes “It’s not about what you know but who you know” is key to remember on the journey of building your brand in any market. I recommend going checking out the Facebook (or should I say Meta) groups that are similar to your industry/topic or go visit a local chamber of commerce for upcoming events to promote yourself. Word of mouth is the best marketing tool and that comes with just showing up. Next, a website is the best tool to use to promote yourself online. So network and drop your site URL in relevant places online.

Do you sell on your site, or do you use a platform like Amazon, Etsy, Cratejoy, etc?
I sell on my website using a plug-in called Printful. This is like drop-shipping and I love it. I don’t have to have the inventory and the merchant takes care of the packaging and shipping once someone buys. I prefer this method because the shop is still directly on my site and that’s where I want my visitors to stay and they are made with quality.
