Watching my infants struggle with eczema, I felt utterly helpless. No product seemed to provide relief, and the fragrances in many worsened their condition. Determined to find a solution, I turned to my own knack for crafting body butters and creams.

To my surprise, my handmade concoctions worked wonders. Skeptical at first, I was amazed by the soothing effect they had on my daughters’ delicate skin. Encouraged by my support system, I took a leap of faith in 2021, leaving my job to launch Noli Skin Care.

Noli, born from necessity, offers a range of gentle, nut-free products designed with sensitive skin in mind. My meticulous research led me to select nourishing ingredients like fruit butters, avocado, and sunflower oil, steering clear of common irritants like shea butter and coconut oil.

For me, Noli Skin Care isn’t just a business; it’s a labor of love inspired by my daughters. They’ve become my greatest supporters, often joining me at handmade markets and eagerly helping with product preparation.

Can you share one of your favorite marketing or sales stories?

It was 2023, and I found myself facing the opportunity of a lifetime: a massive order from AMERICAN EXPRESS for 600 units of my Skin Hydration Butters to feature at their lounge during the prestigious WOMEN OF POWER SUMMIT in Las Vegas. The sheer magnitude of the opportunity left me simultaneously exhilarated and overwhelmed.

As if that wasn’t enough, I had just welcomed a new addition to our family, navigating the delicate balance between motherhood and entrepreneurship. The pressure seemed insurmountable – how could I possibly meet such a significant deadline while caring for a newborn, tending to my other children, managing household responsibilities, and supporting my loved ones? Doubts crept in, and imposter syndrome reared its head, whispering that maybe I wasn’t ready for this.

Initially, I talked myself out of accepting the order, convinced that the challenges outweighed my abilities. The fear of failure loomed large, and I hesitated to take the leap. But then, my village rallied around me in a way that I will forever be grateful for. Friends and family flooded my home, bombarding me with calls, texts, and unwavering encouragement. Their belief in me was unwavering, their support unyielding.

With their unwavering support propelling me forward, I decided to embrace the challenge head-on. Despite the sleepless nights and the chaotic juggling act of parenthood and entrepreneurship, I poured my heart and soul into fulfilling the order. It was a whirlwind of late nights and early mornings, but as the deadline approached, I emerged victorious, having completed the order ahead of schedule.
