Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Tiffany Burrow. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.
Hi Tiffany, thanks for joining us today. Let’s start with a story that highlights an important way in which your brand diverges from the industry standard.
One of the things that sets my brand, Unapologetic Coaching with Tiffany, apart is that I refuse to follow the weight loss industry’s blueprint — because I lived it, and I know how broken it is.
I spent most of my life stuck in diet culture — obsessing over rules, chasing perfection, and believing that my worth was tied to a number on the scale. I tried everything the industry promised would “fix” me. It wasn’t until I finally rejected all of that noise that I lost 115 pounds — and kept it off for over 8 years — without following a single diet.
That’s not the kind of success the industry celebrates, because it’s not the kind that keeps people coming back. The traditional weight loss industry is built to profit off repeat customers. It’s a cycle of temporary results, shame, and starting over. I’ve made it my mission to break that cycle for good.
At Unapologetic Coaching with Tiffany, my clients don’t get weighed in or judged. They don’t follow a one-size-fits-all meal plan or a list of restrictive rules. What they do get is mindset coaching, habit-building strategies, and the tools to build a lifestyle they can maintain without obsession or burnout.
I don’t just help my clients lose weight. I help them understand how to keep it off — in a way that actually feels good and works in real life. I teach them how to live, not how to diet. That distinction changes everything.
One client recently told me, “I’m finally free. I feel in control of my body and my choices — not because I’m perfect, but because I understand myself.” That’s what I care about most. Not perfection. Not discipline. But real, lasting transformation.
My goal isn’t just to help people reach their goals — it’s to make sure they never have to start over again. That’s the kind of freedom diet culture doesn’t sell — and that’s exactly why I do.

Awesome – so before we get into the rest of our questions, can you briefly introduce yourself to our readers.
I became a health coach after years of toxic dieting. Like so many others, I spent a huge part of my life chasing the next plan, believing that if I just followed it perfectly, I’d finally be happy in my body. But after enough cycles of restriction, shame, and self-blame, something inside me finally said, “This can’t be it.”
So I did the most radical thing I could think of:
I let go of every diet rule I had ever followed.
Instead of overhauling everything at once, I made small, sustainable changes — one at a time. I didn’t weigh myself or obsess over numbers. I just trusted that if I showed up and shifted my habits, my body would respond. Within a year, I lost 115 pounds. More importantly, I’ve kept it off for over 8 years — without ever going back to dieting.
That transformation changed everything for me. I knew I couldn’t be the only one who felt like the system was broken. I wanted to help others reclaim their confidence, their bodies, and their lives — without ever dieting again.
That’s how I became a coach.
And that’s how Unapologetic Coaching with Tiffany was born.
It came from knowing I had the passion, belief, and dedication to make a real impact. Branching out on my own gave me the freedom to expand my reach and fully personalize my coaching. Every client I work with gets an individualized experience — there’s no cookie-cutter plan. I meet each person exactly where they are and help them build something sustainable that actually fits their life.
My mission is to completely diverge from the weight loss industry’s standard approach. The truth is, there’s no perfect plan that will change your life. What changes your life is what’s already inside you — your willingness to show up, get curious, and build something that works for you.
I focus on helping clients not only reach their goals, but keep them. My number one priority is long-term sustainability. It’s not just about what works for 6 weeks — it’s about what still works in 6 years.
I do this through personalized 1:1 coaching, where I guide clients through habit shifts, mindset work, and real-life strategies that fit their lifestyle. I also offer a flexible, structure-based meal plan through a company I trust and believe in, to support clients who benefit from that framework.
In addition, I run The Unapologetic Mastermind, a group coaching program designed to create a supportive community of people who are all working toward freedom, confidence, and real change — together.
What I’m most proud of is the relationship I build with my clients. I care deeply about their goals, and I don’t give up on them. If someone trusts me enough to start this journey, I’ll do everything in my power to help them succeed. I want every single client to feel like they have a coach who sees them — not just their habits or their weight, but who they are as a person. I want them to feel supported, empowered, and proud of their investment.
Because in my world, health isn’t about shrinking yourself.
It’s about becoming more of who you truly are — unapologetically.

Any stories or insights that might help us understand how you’ve built such a strong reputation?
Honestly? I think it’s because I’m real.
I don’t show up pretending to have it all figured out or trying to be some perfect example of health. I share my struggles, my challenges, and my story — not to pat myself on the back, but to build trust. To show my clients that lasting change is possible, even if it’s messy. Even if it’s not perfect.
A lot of my clients have told me, “You’re different from any coach I’ve ever worked with.”
And I think that’s because I’ve lived it.
I know what it’s like to feel stuck. To feel defeated. I don’t just preach more willpower or discipline — I meet people with compassion. I say, “This is hard, I see that… and look at all the incredible things you’re already doing.” Then we figure out how to work through the hard parts together.
Clients have told me I never judge. That I care more than I should. That I don’t give up on them — even when they want to give up on themselves.
And honestly, that’s the biggest compliment I could ever receive.
My reputation has been built on showing up with passion, integrity, and a whole lot of heart. Coaching isn’t just something I do — it’s who I am. I’m down-to-earth, honest, and direct. I don’t sugarcoat things, and I don’t hide behind a polished brand.
I show up as Tiffany — because to me, coaching is about being a partner, not an expert.
And I believe that’s what makes the difference.

Can you share a story from your journey that illustrates your resilience?
Starting and running a business as a solo entrepreneur is hard. There have been moments where I genuinely considered walking away — craving the comfort of a steady paycheck, the structure of a 9–5, the predictability of stability.
But every single time I’ve felt that pull toward safety, my soul just won’t let me.
Because this isn’t just a job — it’s a mission. And I know in my bones that it matters.
When I launched my business, it was supposed to begin with a steady stream of revenue. That was the plan. But due to a series of unexpected and unfortunate events, everything I thought I could count on fell through. Instead of hitting the ground running, I was suddenly in survival mode — trying to build a brand while rebuilding the foundation it was meant to stand on.
Funds were going out faster than clients were coming in. It was scary. This past year has been the hardest of my life — emotionally, financially, and professionally.
And yet… I’m still here.
This experience has been the biggest test of my resilience. I could have shut it all down. I could’ve said, “It’s too much,” and walked away. But I didn’t. I gave myself a few days to panic, cry, feel sorry for myself — and then I got to work.
I reached out to every business mentor I could find. I had meetings with banks, financial advisors, anyone who could offer insight or guidance. I reworked my strategy from the ground up. I spent late nights learning, adjusting, and pushing through every ounce of discomfort and fear.
And while there are still challenges, I’m finding a path forward — one step at a time.
Because one thing about me?
When something matters, I don’t give up.
I will do everything I can. I’ll find every solution.
And if it seems like there are none left? I’ll try a few more anyway.
That’s what resilience looks like in real life. Messy, raw, and relentless — fueled not by perfection, but by purpose.
