Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Tiffany Anderson. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.
Hi TIFFANY, thanks for joining us today. Can you talk to us about a project that’s meant a lot to you?
This question is hard because I’ve had so many memorable moments from choreographing and performing a Flash Mob for #TeamAtl Atlanta Super Bowl Host Committee to music videos and stage plays and my now new venture, teaching line dance classes. But meaningful would have to be awarded to my 20 years of coaching the youth in dance. I started with a group of young ladies at Ebster Rec center in Decatur, Ga that didn’t have a versatile dance team at their high school. I was only 22, so with closeness in age, I didn’t only teach them, I actually dance with them. It was a great start on my dance coaching career. I became a middle school dance coach for 8yrs. From choreographing all the routines, selecting uniforms, fundraising to a group of 15 middle school girls, on top of having a very small child myself. I was successful. My last year in the school system due to staff cuts, I partnered with a friend at the time who I am greatful for pushing me to start my own dance company. She would always quote “your gifts will make room for you” – this has definitely blessed me till this day. Unfortunately, we weren’t able to continue our dance company together. Dancers Unleashed was birthed in 2014. I have serviced over 150 kids 3-18. Being a community based program, the classes were never over $65 monthly. I dedicated 2 to 3 days a week teaching quality hip hop and jazz dance lessons. The kids experienced real dance competitions, being in a music video, Performing in Dancing with the Dekalb Stars with the now Dekalb County CEO. I was so blessed to be able to provide my gifts as an inexpensive service to these young individuals to nurture, mentor and expose them to the dance world. The opportunities we experienced were simply
amazing and I’m thankful everyday. I really bonded with my kids and still keep in touch with 80% of my students.

TIFFANY, before we move on to more of these sorts of questions, can you take some time to bring our readers up to speed on you and what you do?
My name is Tiffany “Tip” Anderson and I from the “Real Atlanta “. Born and raised in Southeast Atlanta, I really had a positive childhood. I will tell anyone Troop 475 made me the independent, outgoing, confident ,semi-adventurous (I’m not jumping out of any planes) successful woman I am today. I am a master in so many crafts. Being a True Gemini, I dibble in everything. I can’t sit still. My favorite saying is #ImOutside… because I am always outside learning something, dancing, singing, traveling, living my best life. I’m more so, living it up making money now. Lol. I have had my dance company Dancers Unleashed since January 2014. Servicing over 150 kids ages 3-18, once covid hit, I took less and less kids until I decided to become private lessons only. Then a month ago, I had an eppihany, I love a good line dance and decided I wanted to help others learn how to line dance too. I’m overwhelmed but how much support I have received thus far. I conduct a monthly line dance tutorial class for $5 on Sundays at a popular lounge, Vybez in Stonecrest, Ga. I teach current and older line dances as least complicated as possible and we party good and burn some calories in the process. I also co- own a brand new boutique cigar line called King Ella Cigars. Afro-Lantina/Black-Owned, my best friend and I partner up on this project. Being women in this male dominant trade, is not easy at all but it feels great to be one of very few Black-Owned female cigar line owners. We are excited for what’s to come. Our very first cigar is a Maduro ,Nicaraguan and Dominican leaf. It’s very smooth and a sexy stick. We are working on getting stocked in the cigar lounges as soon as possible. To purchase and support our cigars, customers can connect with us on Facebook and Instagram @kingellacigars. Our website:

How about pivoting – can you share the story of a time you’ve had to pivot?
Being an active single parent…I definitely had challenges in balancing life, especially as a business owner. I work a full-time 8-5pm, Monday through Friday job. My now 19 yr old son, was very young and grew as my business grew. He was deep into playing sports, Basketball 🏀 school, travel, and believe it or not,,I coached his team for 4 years. I am a competitive kickball player(yes a real sport) I’ll never forget the first time all of my activities were all on the same day. I got up and picked up girls for an all day dance competition, they danced the first performance, I left there, when to coach my son, left there picked up another dancer for the older girls competition, watched them perform, left went and played my kickball game and then went back to the competition to watch my solo dancer perform. Faith, dedication and discipline and meditation for mental peace because when it’s just you, You have too. I was tired but I was so proud I was able to be there for everyone and my son was so supportive of the girls. He understood and that is something that helped me prospere. The support from those that mattered.

Is there mission driving your creative journey?
Right now my goal is to enjoy the services that I’m providing at this time. With dance I’m giving people an outlet, a place to do something they enjoy, that will get a good workout and they are able to learn some cool dances.
With the cigar business… Success in being the top female blackowned cigar company in the world has a nice ring to it. To provide the best brand of cigars ever. Understand there is Enough room at the table for all of us.
