We were lucky to catch up with Tiffani Moseley recently and have shared our conversation below.

Tiffani, appreciate you joining us today. Has your work ever been misunderstood or mischaracterized?

It’s very hard being “sexy”. It was easier when I wasn’t smaller. You get judged a lot because of how you look. But then again, when I was 330 pounds, I also got judged. So, I’m saying no matter what state you’re in, you will always be judged and misunderstood.

Tiffani, before we move on to more of these sorts of questions, can you take some time to bring our readers up to speed on you and what you do?

Tiffani R. Moseley aka Tiffani R. “Singz” was born in Houston, Texas into a preaching and singing family. Tiffani began singing in church at the mere age of five. Tiffani began to cultivate her gift under the leadership of Shirley and Rise’ Joiner of the Outreach Missionary Baptist Church in the 90’s to 2000’s.

She is a mom of a beautiful son, Isaiah Clark.

Tiffani graduated from Southern University and A&M College (Baton Rouge) with a Bachelors of Arts
In Communications (Broadcast) in 2008. While attending, she was one of the lead vocalists of the Southern University Interdenominational Gospel Choir under the direction of Reginald Collins. While
attending Elkins High School of Missouri City, Texas, under the direction of Russ Clark, she Competed in
the Texas All State Choir in 2003 and placed 6th chair first soprano in this competitive classical choir.
In recent years, Tiffani has served as praise and worship leader of Dominion Church International.

Tiffani has been singing professionally as musical artist at various churches and events for the past 15 years.

Tiffani serves as praise leader at the Pleasant Hill Church of Deliverance in LaPorte, Tx where Pastor Gene Johnson is Senior Pastor alongside his wife, Lady Gail Johnson.

In January of 2016, Tiffani recorded her first single in Nashville, Tennessee with John Smiley, CEO of
First Choice Gospel Records. She recorded a rendition of the cover tune, “A Change is Gonna Come”
by Sam Cooke. The single was released on May 10th of 2016.
In 2022, after being blessed to minister at the late former Astros star, J. R. Richard’s homegoing in
August of 2021, she met Robert “Basstohven” Garrett owner of Basstohven Productions
Basstohven in partnership, helped Tiffani to release her first original works in 2022.

She is a business owner of TRSingz Marketing & Organization, LLC in Houston, TX that specializes in website design, social media management, and business organization. She’s also a certified Zumba instructor who wants to motivate for all the plus sized ladies and help them overcome barriers of low self esteem and depression.

We’d love to hear the story of how you built up your social media audience?

I first began by posting videos of me singing on my Facebook page. “Tiffani R. Singz Music” and then by starting my weight loss journey from 330 pounds which started 3 years ago. I’d post my workouts, hard stories, and past hurts on my instagram, Tiffanirsingz333

How about pivoting – can you share the story of a time you’ve had to pivot?

I was a public educator for 10 years in my own classroom teaching math for grades 6th to 8th and Algebra. Overall, my total experience in Education is about 15 years. Due to the unexpected demands and high stress level, those things forced me to move into my business full time.
