Tierra, looking forward to hearing all of your stories today. How did you learn to do what you do? Knowing what you know now, what could you have done to speed up your learning process? What skills do you think were most essential? What obstacles stood in the way of learning more?
I am always elated to share my expertise with anyone who is curious. I learned the industries I’m in by not charging and helping from a genuine pl;ace in the beginning years: In order to gain experience in a field that a person is interested in,they must humbles themselves and do unpaid interns and volunteer work to gain experience and build a credible portfolio.

My name is Tierra Fluker, I was born and raised in St. Louis,MO. I moved to Dallas,Texas in 2018. I also run Businesses in Texas and Los Angeles,CA and soon two more Businesses by the end of this year. My first Business was Marketing,Public Relations and Events,I started in the industry over 10 years ago. I also started Faith Home Health LLC a non-medical senior care businesses to serve seniors and Disabled people over 6 years ago. I have written three books “Own your Pain Book series”. I consider myself a servant in business and my personal life. I truly have the interest of helping,serving,reaching out and lending a helping hand to people who I see are trying and also improving. By me working from a genuine place and truly caring about people,this is what sets me apart from the competition. I always say my motto is
“I work from the heart”

Having this instilled and me and being reliable in life has taken me places I could have never imagined and opened doors for me I could have never imagined.

What’s been the most effective strategy for growing your clientele?
Growing your business clientele I recall when I first started is always a challenge the first few years in Business. Stay consistent and never be afraid to try new strategies to see what works. I always grew my Business by attending networking events,Business Luncheons, Business seminars and networking groups on meetup,taking massive action by just showing up with a Business card and knowing your business inside and out can make a world of difference.
Do you have multiple revenue streams – if so, can you talk to us about those streams and how your developed them?
Distinctive Events management started out niche focused by providing events and expo services as a way to showcase community businesses products and services. However,as we grew over the years we slowly implemented other services such as Branding,Public relations full service marketing,talent Management,Talent Management,Project Management and Business Management. This process did not happen overnight,it took years and I suggest every business owner take it one day at a time and grow into other services once you have mastered one key area.
