We recently connected with Tiara Talley and have shared our conversation below.
Hi Tiara , thanks for joining us today. What sort of legacy are you hoping to build. What do you think people will say about you after you are gone, what do you hope to be remembered for?
I am living out the legacy of my father, who, like me, was an entrepreneur but lost his life at the young age of 27. The drive I have for my business has always been bigger than just me—because deep down, I know his spirit lives through me. I want people to say that when they see me, they see him. That they recognize the love, passion, and dedication I have for my dreams and aspirations.
Beyond that, I hope to be remembered as someone who inspired others to chase their own paths fearlessly. Through my work as an esthetician, content creator, and educator, I strive to empower people—whether it’s through helping them feel confident in their skin, sharing my journey to encourage others, or uplifting my community. My legacy is one of resilience, creativity, and purpose, and I want people to look at my life and say, “She never gave up, and she made a difference.”

Tiara , love having you share your insights with us. Before we ask you more questions, maybe you can take a moment to introduce yourself to our readers who might have missed our earlier conversations?
My name is Tiara Nicole , and I am a solo esthetician, content creator, and entrepreneur dedicated to helping people feel confident in their skin. My journey into the beauty and wellness industry started with a deep passion for skincare and self-care, which evolved into my business, Skinish Body & Soul. Through my services—facials, waxing, body sculpting, and post-op care—I aim to provide not just treatments, but an experience that empowers my clients to embrace their natural beauty.
What sets me apart is my holistic approach to skincare and body care. I create natural skincare products, blending science with nature to deliver high-quality, effective solutions tailored to my clients’ needs. Additionally, my background as a special education educator has given me a unique perspective on patience, care, and individualized service—qualities that I bring into every session with my clients.
Beyond esthetics, I am also a content creator who shares lifestyle, beauty, and food-related content. I love engaging with my audience and inspiring others through my journey—whether it’s navigating entrepreneurship, mental health, or personal growth. I have worked with world-known brands, and my goal is to continue expanding my influence while staying authentic to who I am.
What I’m most proud of is the community I’ve built—one where clients and followers alike feel seen, valued, and motivated to invest in themselves. My work is about more than just skincare; it’s about confidence, self-love, and transformation. Through my business and my content, I want to leave a lasting impact, showing others that they, too, can turn their passion into purpose.

Any advice for growing your clientele? What’s been most effective for you?
When I first started esthetician school, I made it a habit to post everything—from what I was learning in class to hands-on treatments. That consistency played a huge role in attracting my first clients. Social media is a powerful tool, but pairing it with in-person connections takes your brand to another level.
One of the best ways to grow is by getting involved in your local community—attending networking events, joining social clubs, and putting yourself in spaces where potential clients can find you. Marketing yourself isn’t just about being online; it’s about being present. Word of mouth is one of the most powerful forms of marketing, and the more people see and experience your work, the more they’ll talk about it.
Whether it’s showing up on social media or showing up in real life, the key is to stay consistent, engaged, and intentional with how you build your brand.

Any insights you can share with us about how you built up your social media presence?
The moment I learned to be my true, authentic self, everything started to shift! I wouldn’t call myself a huge social media star, but I can definitely say my name and face are becoming more recognized in the Nashville area. The key for me has been transparency—showing up as myself and not getting lost in trends just for the sake of going viral.
My best advice for anyone starting their social media journey is to focus on your own niche and stay consistent. Don’t get too caught up in the numbers; engagement and community matter more than follower count. There’s literally a platform and audience for everyone—you just have to show up, provide value, and let your personality shine!
