We were lucky to catch up with Tiara Shardé recently and have shared our conversation below.

Alright, Tiara thanks for taking the time to share your stories and insights with us today. We’d love to hear about a project that you’ve worked on that’s meant a lot to you.

One of my greatest joys in life is my work. The work that I do for women, the partnerships that I cultivate with them, is so rewarding and special to me. I am the founder of Embodying the Goddess, a temple and mystery school dedicated to honoring, awakening and restoring women as the feminine personification of the Divine. I help them step into their power as majestic feminine leaders, healers, and teachers so that they feel supported as they rise into the fullness of their soul’s purpose.

I am here to usher in Goddess Spirituality and the Divine Feminine Principles to help women free themselves from generational curses, unresolved trauma, and the constraints of patriarchal religion so that they can step into your power, enhance their spiritual gifts, and manifest the abundant life of a Goddess.

Tiara, love having you share your insights with us. Before we ask you more questions, maybe you can take a moment to introduce yourself to our readers who might have missed our earlier conversations?

My journey began in 2018 when I took a leap of faith and relocated to Costa Rica shortly after the passing of my mother. I felt so lost without her and truly needed time to fully grieve over such a major loss in my life. The pull to go deeper into my spirituality, to connect with nature, and to document my experiences became stronger and stronger until I found the courage to share my story by starting a YouTube channel. That was when everything changed.

Women, and even men, from all over the world welcomed and embraced me wanting to know more about this brave and radical woman who gave up everything she owned and moved to the tropics with less than $2,000 in her pocket. They wanted to know how I found the strength to follow spirit and most importantly, if I could help them follow their soul’s call as well.

Coming home from the beach and hopping on Zoom calls with people who resonated with me and my story became a daily experience. I’ve always been intuitive since childhood so it was an easy “yes” when I was asked to provide readings and encouragement sessions to help them with their situation. New opportunities and connections quickly began to open up in ways I had only dreamed of and my life began to change for the better through the lives of the people I was blessed to work with. And that’s when my ministry came into being.

The mystery school was launched in 2020 starting with Embodying the Goddess Within and later, The P*ssy Portal – two signature and one of a kind programs that nurture, prepare and accelerate women on their voyage of becoming a divine feminine goddess and priestess using the tools, spiritual practices and strategies that I learned while on my personal journey of embodying who I truly am in this life.

Truly falling in love with my purpose, I became a Certified Master Life Coach with concentrations in Success, Business, Happiness and Spiritual Life Purpose so that I could gain more tools to be better able to assist those who would be called to my work. I’ve since created spiritual workshops, retreats, books, journals, and seminars. I’ve been interviewed by podcasts and news outlets such as the BBC, and have been honored to speak at venues in the U.S. and internationally. One of the highlights of my career was co-managing a wellness center in my hometown, Bridgeport, CT, where I offered countless workshops such as “The Esoteric and Chill Series”, “The Voice of the Divine Feminine Panel Discussion”, “Drumming and Storytelling”, and “Sacred Sexuality” to inspire my inner city community to go deeper and higher into their spirituality and their healing.

Following the call of the Divine, I studied to become an Ordained Minister in 2021 and went on to establish Embodying the Goddess, a transformative nonprofit temple in sacred ministry to the Goddess in 2023. We are a membership based temple and our church service, Sensual Sunday, is open to all those who honor women and the Goddess.

One of the most powerful messages that I share with my community is to step out on faith even without fully knowing what your purpose looks like or where you are being led because that is how you truly find out who you are meant to be in this life. And you, my love, are meant to be someone truly spectacular.

Are there any books, videos or other content that you feel have meaningfully impacted your thinking?

Publishing my story, “The P*ssy Portal: Healing With Pleasure” in the bestselling anthology, “Ancient-Future Unity: Reclaim Your Roots, Liberate Your Lineage, Live a Legacy of Love” truly changed my life and my career.

It was such a pivotal moment for me as I came forward as a womb healer and priestess in a way that I never have before. Through my own healing journey, I connected with my ancestors to understand what steps needed to be taken in order to liberate not only myself and my bloodline, but the entire collective of women.

We as women are juicy, sensual, romantic beings and a major part of our healing comes from cultivating, celebrating and expressing that sacred part of us. However, many women have been suffering from trauma, abuse and neglect to the point that our wombs are yearning for healing, love and care. Together, we break those generational curses and reclaim our bodies as our own so that wealth, wellness and true love can be ushered into the bloodline.

I am here to show women how to cultivate self pleasure as a spiritual practice and this radical healing modality goes beyond s*x. It consists of self pleasure ceremonies such as sensual affirmations, anointing the body with oil, practicing our magick with self love and curse breaking rituals, and other sacred exercises that soothe the soul, regulate the nervous system and activate the source of our power as women – our womb. I reveal these sacred practices in The P*ssy Portal Program which takes place during the fall semester of our mystery school.

For you, what’s the most rewarding aspect of being a creative?

I thoroughly enjoy honoring the ebb and flow that comes with being a creative. I’m grateful for the opportunity to create my own hours and to schedule time for both rest and play. For many years I allowed myself to be a part of the corporate rat race and denied myself the freedom that comes with following my purpose path as a spiritual mentor and creator. Taking that leap of faith was scary at first but it was so rewarding! Now I can dedicate more time to simple BE and let the Divine guide me in all that I do.
