We recently connected with Tiara Crutch and have shared our conversation below.
Hi Tiara, thanks for joining us today. Do you have any advice regarding quality control and maintaining quality as your brand grows?
Understand your customer expectations , establish your reputation , manage cost effectively and meet or exceed industry standards. If your business consistently delivers what it promises, your customers are much more likely to sing your praises on social media platforms. This not only helps drive your brand awareness, but it also creates the much-desired FOMO effect, which stands for “Fear of Missing Out.” Social-media users that see your company’s strong reputation will want to become part of the product or service you’re offering, which can boost your sales.
Great, appreciate you sharing that with us. Before we ask you to share more of your insights, can you take a moment to introduce yourself and how you got to where you are today to our readers
R.D.B (Rose Du Béton) Fashion Show was founded by tiara crutch also known as Ms. Béquille. The conception of this fashion show stemmed with a conversation with my late father, Donald Crutch. I always had a dream of my brand, Béquille, attached to a fashion show. The fashion show debuted in Queens, New York September 17, 2017. It was a sold out event that had patrons standing along the walls and a line around the corner. At this point, I was watching my dreams come to fruition!
The production behind this event included a celebrity makeup artist & a celebrity photographer. The global pandemic tried to stop my dream but after meeting pharoh Khepri Show coordinator RDB picked up in Jacksonville Florida with another sold-out event, on May 21st, 2021. With celebrity guest designer, Isaac Spry who tailored customs from the blockbuster, Black Panther as well as the hit TV series The Walking Dead. This ignited a fire within me to continue on with the RDB Fashion Show and take it on the road.
With the initiative of Pharoh Khepri, CEO of unspoken model management, we have mapped out a fashion show tour of three major cities. With my drive & direction paired with the organization & event skills of my business partner we have created a blueprint for the underdogs. RDB has been seen on buzz tv ,RiverCity live Jacksonville news & published twice! In January 2022 pharoh Khepri passed away which was a very emotional time for RDB . We decided to continue to keep the vision alive and ceo tiara crutch & Marcus McNeil ceo of Xclusive Entertainment decided to join forces. Tiara & Marcus bonded through grieving the lost of their dear friend pharoh Khepri. Xclusive Entertainment was founded by Marcus McNeil. Born in Memphis, Tennessee. He is a 37 year old male graduate of Edward Waters College and Keiser University Degrees in Business Management & Computer Science. He started Xclusive Entertainment with dreams of expanding Entertainment on different levels. Taking one venue and merging them. Example would be a fashion show and a poetry wrapped into one with an celebrity guest host. This is the new wave Mr. McNeil choose to connect with RDB Fashion. RDB was created to bring awareness to talent & businesses who weren’t getting the exposure & opportunities needed. “We are for the underdogs!” RDB means “concrete rose” in English! We want to be the example of how no matter your environment or struggles you can still come out stronger & amazing.
Any insights you can share with us about how you built up your social media presence?
Building a social media audience is easier to build via Facebook verses Instagram. To build an audience you need a strategy . I figured out who our target audience was and remained consistent! Set goals to achieve and don’t forget word of mouth still works better than any paid ad.
Any advice for managing a team?
Be supportive, communicating with and uplifting team members so they perform to the best of their abilities and continue to grow as professionals. Understand that Some team members may also respond differently to certain management styles. Understanding your own leadership style and what works best with your team is an important part of team management. Always be confident in what your saying. Focus on serving rather than managing. , a good leader leads through actions, as opposed to merely giving orders and delegating tasks. If you want your team to act professionally and deliver excellent work, you should act accordingly and set an example.
