We recently connected with Tianna Lauderdale and have shared our conversation below.
Alright, Tianna thanks for taking the time to share your stories and insights with us today. We’d love to hear about when you first realized that you wanted to pursue a creative path professionally.
The first time I knew I wanted to pursue my path professionally was when I built up my confidence from within.I use to believe what others would negatively say about me, but I always remind myself that not everyone is going to agree with you and support you. I remember my first time getting in front of the camera i was helping out a friend who was getting to the photographer business, we did a quick photoshoot at a studio in my hometown, it was fun and everything went smooth and easy, I had so much energy afterwards and was ready to learn more about the path other then just standing in-front of a camera posing.
Great, appreciate you sharing that with us. Before we ask you to share more of your insights, can you take a moment to introduce yourself and how you got to where you are today to our readers
I got into the industry through my social media platform. Posting pictures helped me out a lot, I noticed being consistent on social media with uploading pictures and sharing other photographers work attracted more photographers to me. The most thing I’m proud of is I’m never afraid to be myself, and I try to express that through the camera. I want my followers to know that every thing takes time, don’t rush or get ahead of yourself. I have moments when I feel like everything needs to be perfect, but not everything is meant to be that way.
What do you think is the goal or mission that drives your creative journey?
My goal honestly is to pose/model for the sports illustrated magazine. I feel like that’s a challenge and goal that always stuck with me when I started modeling. Seeing how beautiful and confident people are is empowering.
What’s the most rewarding aspect of being a creative in your experience?
The most rewarding aspect of being a creative is doing something you actually enjoy and like and also knowing that you are doing something you love and having your audience reciprocate that love back to you.
