Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Tia Te’aire Taylor-Scroggins. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.

Hi Tia Te’aire, thanks for joining us today. We’d love to hear about how you went about setting up your own practice and if you have any advice for professionals who might be considering starting their own?

I have always been passionate about anything I pursued, from my youth until now. I would follow any spiritual guidance from the Universe for my path and run right into whatever it was, almost feeling like I had no other choice but to do so.

So, in April 2019, when Spirit put me in a position and urged me to move an hour and a half away from my home and family and fire my boss because I was never meant to work for anyone else, I just remember being so ready and excited to take the journey by the horns. It wasn’t easy, though. It was actually very scary, and more than anything, I worried and feared that I might completely fail as a business owner. It wasn’t something I’d ever done before this.

On August 13, 2019, I officially launched my business, now named Serenity Oracle Oasis, as Creochun. To my surprise, it did very well, but it really took off by November of that same year. I wasn’t able to get an LLC yet because, to be honest, I was still struggling and way at the bottom financially, even though I was making way more than I was before with no job at all.

I would say one of the most major steps in setting up my business was having faith along the journey. Every turn, no matter what worked out and what did not. I also used many manifestation techniques like scripting, intention setting, and the law of attraction to call in the desires that I wanted for my business. I had goals set out, mapped out schedules for content creation, and ways to promote without just posting ads only. I set my prices and services that I felt confident enough to offer at that time. Honestly, there is nothing that I would personally change about the way I started out. I put myself out there, gave it my best effort, took risks, followed the lead of what I was hearing from Spirit, and things moved in a direction that made it possible for my business to become an LLC, as well as make $46k in my second year running it. I feel that those steps and even every challenge along the way were very aligned with my path for today.

Speaking of challenges, I would say that a key challenge in the beginning of launching my business is that I was doing so homeless, from a shelter where my two kids and I shared one room that had green walls where I conducted Facebook lives to promote from. As I said, it didn’t start off easy.

Advice that I would give other young professionals starting out in their business is to not wait for the perfect timing. The right timing, yes, but there will just never be a perfect time, in my opinion. Everything won’t be perfect…ever, but as long as you are taking action in the area you desire to go, it’ll never be a failure. Failure only happens when you don’t try at all. Even if you don’t have every single specific area set up—do it! Because eventually, you will have the ability and means to set those things up. You really just have to get out there. Stop waiting for perfect.

I am a Holistic Alternative Therapist, an Advanced Reiki Master Teacher, Author, Spiritual Alchemist, and Oracle.

From an early age, my intuitive abilities allowed me to foresee events that later unfolded in the future. In April 2019, I delved deeper into my gifts through Tarot, later expanding my repertoire to include divination methods such as cowrie shells, oracle cards, runes, and pendulum readings. Embracing channeling without divination tools, I mastered automatic writing and trusted the messages I channeled directly, sharing these insights with the collective. This practice reinforced my natural ability to channel spiritual methods and deepened my trust in my inherent gifts.

Within my offerings, I provide Psychic Tarot Therapy, addressing diverse areas such as relationships, general inquiries, career paths, finances, and annual predictions. Additionally, I extend complementary therapeutic methods, including Usui Ryoho Reiki, Karuna Ki Reiki, hypnotherapy, Neuro Linguistic Programming (NLP), and Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT) Tapping. My unique Subconscious Exposure Therapy, a method I developed, involves delving into clients’ subconscious and unconscious (shadow self) minds to explore underlying beliefs and patterns affecting their emotional and mental well-being. By addressing these deep-seated aspects, I empower them to gain insight and clarity, facilitating positive changes in their lives.

My authored book series, The Authentic Self, an eBook where I breakdown how to explore personal growth and spiritual evolution through the conscious, unconscious, subconscious, and superconscious mind. Additionally, I’ve created a shadow workbook guiding individuals through 12 steps to self-actualization.

Having successfully worked with over 100 clients, I’ve assisted in healing resistance, overcoming addictions, unlocking intuitive and psychic senses, addressing relationship and financial challenges, correcting chakra misalignments, and enhancing auras.

Through Tecko Evolution Academy, my spiritual enlightenment school, I offer courses, workshops, and a one-on-one mentorship program. Accredited by the International Association of Therapists and International Natural Healers Association, these offerings aim to facilitate healing and personal growth on multiple levels, promoting a harmonious mind-body-spirit connection.

My primary goal is to assist spiritualists, healers, alchemists, and seers like myself in tapping into their own truth and inner selves. Learning and unlearning are both critical parts of growth – can you share a story of a time when you had to unlearn a lesson?

It’s often said that our greatest battles are fought within ourselves. In my own life, the most profound victory came not on a battlefield but in the war against hesitation and procrastination. In my journey, I have been able to unlearn the art of delay and embrace the power of decisive action.

Growing up, I was the epitome of a cautious individual. Risk-averse, I found comfort in the familiar, steering clear of uncharted waters. Hesitation became my silent companion, dictating the pace of my life and curbing my potential. Little did I know that the catalyst for change would manifest itself in so many different unexpected turn of events.

That pivotal moment in April 2019 when the Universe, it seemed, had a different plan for me than my own was the first time I’d moved without overthinking the action. I went from a girl working different jobs such as case manager and healthcare worker, who was now working as a recruiter for a major nationwide talent agency to firing my boss overnight, without the ability to think it fully through. The catch? I was to embark on a journey into entrepreneurship, a realm I had never explored and definitely did not feel ready for.

Faced with uncertainty, that hesitation in the back of my mind. Fear gripped me, whispering tales of failure and inadequacy. Yet, I had no other option but to go, and in that moment of hearing apprehension speak to my mind, and the most limited options to choose not to take action, a spark ignited within me. A defiance against the status quo emerged. It was time to shed the cloak of hesitancy and stride boldly into the unknown.

This led to me launching my business in August 2019. As I mentioned before, it was not easy. Financial insecurities loomed, and self-doubt threatened to extinguish that spark I had as more and more obstacles that I had to overcome presented themselves daily. However, every sleepless night and each challenge became a crucible for transformation. I realized that the longer I hesitated with things that I needed to do to succeed due to fear, the further I distanced myself from my true potential.

To break free from the shackles of delay, I began taking action after action by the lead of Spirit alone. I had to unlearn that toxic rhetoric of waiting for the “perfect moment”. There is no ideal time; there is only now. I began to live by this.

The journey taught me that waiting for the opportune moment only stalls destiny. Action, imperfect as it may be, trumps inaction. Now I’m an author, mentor, and founder of Tecko Evolution Academy, I share my story with the world. My narrative is a testament to the strength found in vulnerability, the power of embracing uncertainty, and the liberation that comes from unlearning the art of hesitation.

How’d you build such a strong reputation within your market?

Since Facebook began I’ve always been the type to hop on and spill my thoughts, musings, and the little bits of wisdom that popped into my head on a daily basis. So, in 2019, I continued this practice, but I also started sharing channeled messages for the collective—those lightbulb moments straight from the Universe. I received them randomly but frequently, and I had a hunch that maybe, just maybe, someone out there needed to hear the messages that were being given to me.

I never wanted to be one of those “all sunshine and rainbows” gurus. Life’s not like that, and neither are we. So, I threw in my own stories—the messy, real, and sometimes downright awkward parts. We’re all navigating our own shadows, so I thought, why not do it together? Why not provide a safe space publicly where my own story could inspire others to share theirs?

Fast forward to now, where I am reaching over 7 million people and have gained 25k followers between my two platforms, engaging in regular conversations with as many as over 500k responses. Can you believe it? It’s not just about the numbers; it’s about going from someone who just thought, “Hey, let me step out and share my story, my thoughts” to barely anyone responding, to now reaching over 7 million people who feel heard, understood, seen, inspired, encouraged, ignited, and even convicted sometimes to be triggered into immense transformation, and more.

In the comments, I see so many stories unfolding—struggles, victories, laughs, relation, questions, thought-provoking answers, and the messy in-betweens. That’s what makes this community special to me. It’s not just a following; it’s a cozy corner of the internet where we share, learn, and grow together.

So, what helped me build my reputation in my market? The 7 million souls who’ve chosen to join this journey over time with their messages, stories, and their deepest transparency—it all adds up to something beautiful in my market of healing.
