Tia, thanks for taking the time to share your stories with us today Coming up with the idea is so exciting, but then comes the hard part – executing. Too often the media ignores the execution part and goes from idea to success, skipping over the nitty, gritty details of executing in the early days. We think that’s a disservice both to the entrepreneurs who built something amazing as well as the public who isn’t getting a realistic picture of what it takes to succeed. So, we’d really appreciate if you could open up about your execution story – how did you go from idea to execution?

One day I was driving in my car praying and just began worshipping God. As I was talking to God I began to say regardless of what I am going through I will worship you regardless, rather good or bad I will worship you regardless. I began to think to myself regardless of what I am going through God is still good and it doesn’t change His status. This was the birthing of Purpose Driven Ink LLC and I had no clue until later on during my prayer and journal time I began writing about it and came up with a design for a Worship Regardless and an Abba Father t-shirt. From there I began to search for a vendor to create the t-shirts for me at that time. Once I got the vendor and the t-shirt design, I was at work one day and I began thinking what should I name this t-shirt business and that is where I came up with Purpose Driven Ink LLC. I’ve always been a person after God-given purpose so it all tied in. It all started from my prayer time with God. That’s why having a relationship with God is so important. He has the blueprint of our lives in the palm of His hands.

Tia, love having you share your insights with us. Before we ask you more questions, maybe you can take a moment to introduce yourself to our readers who might have missed our earlier conversations?

I am the owner of Christian based t-shirt brand company. I sell t-shirts and create customized t-shirts along with other items per customer’s requests.

The problem that I solve for my clients is being able to meet their business needs. What sets me apart is my delivery time. I can have my customers products done within a very short notice and timeframe. My clients admire my turnaround time with getting their products back to them.

Okay – so how did you figure out the manufacturing part? Did you have prior experience?

When I started my business back in 2018, I used a vendor for my products and I was so curious of how they did it, so I began to do my own research and discovered what I needed to do to get the job done myself. I haven’t used a vendor in almost two years now. It’s a blessing to be able to have an idea and create it on the spot yourself.

Are there any books, videos, essays or other resources that have significantly impacted your management and entrepreneurial thinking and philosophy?

Research and study your brand, you can never stop learning when in business. There’s always an easier way to get a job accomplished. We just have to apply ourselves.
