Alright, SweetsColour thanks for taking the time to share your stories and insights with us today. Risk taking is something we’re really interested in and we’d love to hear the story of a risk you’ve taken.
When it’s comes to starting a business/brand it’s all about taking the risk. Whether is the risk of failures, financial loss, or lack of support. I started my business and podcast with a dream and I took that leap before I was ready. I didn’t have the proper equipment, products, or branding. However, I knew if I kept waiting until everything was perfect, I would never start. So I do it I took the risk of starting and embarking on this journey to be a successful business owner and podcast host. Within a year I’ve seen so much progress and growth within myself and brand. Had I not taken the risk to just do it. I wouldn’t be were am I am today

Awesome – so before we get into the rest of our questions, can you briefly introduce yourself to our readers.
My name is Sweets ! I am an active duty soldiers stationed in South Korea ! I’ve been in the army 11 years. I am a YouTuber ( @SweetsColour) Business Owner ( @SweetscolourCollection) and Podcast Host ( @TheSweetTeaPodcast). I am a well rounded entrepreneur who literally does it all. I’ve beat the odds already by joining the army I’m 4’11 90 pounds but super bad a$$ ! A lot of young people look up to me for my army lifestyle and I love to motivate and mentor soldiers. I also want to show ppl that we can do both. We can a successful full-time career and follow are entrepreneur dreams. We can have it all. We can more than our uniform.
How did you build your audience on social media?
The best way to build your audience is consistency, discipline, and authenticity. Literally be yourself. Let your personality. shine. I blew up on YouTube after telling my basic training story time. People loved it. Yall should go watch. Let’s just say I had a hard time lol. Just keep posting even when you think no one is watching. It make take 2 years for it to pay off in that 3rd year. Don’t give it up. Stay passionate and disciplined to your craft

What’s been the most effective strategy for growing your clientele?
I literally a walking billboard. I wear my cosmetic line faithful. I always have my camera and I’m always talking about my podcast. You are your biggest advertisement
